I only watched one game in earnest earlier this year, don't remember the opponent. Bryce was making cheese and crackers in the backfield.

Probably Ole Miss

He's been under pressure most of the other SEC/Miami games. He maneuvers it really well and throws on the move/run really well, though, so generally it's not too huge a deal.

Curious if they count late screens as pressure. They are really sneaky these days where it looks like a breakdown and the QB is about to be smashed but it's really a late screen.

Possible, but we don't run a ton of those. Our line has just been pretty rough at holding up. They don't get confused and have quick pressure much (outside of a bad quarter vs A&M), but the interior and RT do not hold up for long periods of time. Luckily, Bryce is really good at moving around the pocket and throwing accurately on the move.

Bennett was off target a lot after that early passing TD last year if I remember right.

Bennett's frame is his biggest drawback.
He was winning against Bama and Florida before getting hurt in each game.

I think he can beat any team. But he wont hold up to hits as well as the majority of other P5 qbs in college football

All I know is that Calzada is terrible without a clean pocket
untrue according to the chart. He sucks with a clean pocket but is pretty much nails under pressure.

Well, yea, he had a busted shoulder, which makes throwing very hard.

He shuffles his feet like he is dancing, starts running backward, and usually throws off of his back foot when under pressure. Funny enough his arm is strong enough that those are his "touch" passes.

I always suspect these kinds of stats - Clean vs Pressured is subjective. Same as all these projected efficiency kinds of stats that try to take into account the relative strength of the opponent. Anybody that could actually write such a model - that worked - wouldn't hand it out for free. They'd be slaying Vegas.
