I know, I know...Akron, but Harsin and Bobo are looking like freaking wizards with what they're doing with Nix so far.
I'm holding off until I see him play well against a team with a pass rush.

How is JTD above Emory Jones? Isn't Mullen the qb whisperer?

Do your numbers take into account who the damage was done against?

Yes, which is why Levis numbers are going going look even better after he carves up Mizzou Saturday.

Say what you will, use whatever stat measuring stick you want to but if your qb can't do this you need to find a better qb.

Anyone thinking Will Rogers will break K.J. Costello's Passing Yards in a Single Game record in Week 4?
He ended up taking Costello's job last year even after his record setting performance in Week 1.

Genuinely curious how Haynes King would be ranked if he didn't have 2 PI from deflections that were not his fault. Really he only threw one.
He looked pretty good. Corral, Young, Nix, looked better but King was pretty solid overall.

I don’t think people realize how bad Akron football is. Kent state put up 750 yards of offense on them last year. Buffalo put up 400+ rushing yards enroute to a 56-7 win. Every team they played literally did whatever they want on offense. I know it’s a new season but you get the drift.

Bryce was solid but he didn't complete any throws deep down field and he definitely missed seeing some open routes. I'd probably have him 3-4. Good start to things, though, for sure.

I thought he looked really good, especially for a first-year starter.

His command of the offense in terms of checking and managing everything was very impressive, as was his coolness under pressure and maneuvering the pocket. Very solid first game.

JT Daniels over Will Rogers is comical.

I was surprised Seals was so bad. Vandy had a lot of issues last year but I thought he played alright for a freshman.
If we are strictly going by week 1 performance and taking competition into consideration, then I'd go 1. Young 2. Corral

Would be higher if anyone would block or if they had a running game.

Guy has to prove he can consistently throw it down the field at some point or else the entire game is just gonna be played within 10 yards of the LOS.
