"This is how much our fans care about x sport" Isn't a valid excuse to cover up your ignorance. Its perfectly fine to just say "I don't know shite about baseball", without having to pretend that your school doesn't care about it to cover up their shortcomings.

what the frick you say boy?

I don't know shite about baseball? that's laughable

I don't know shite about Auburn baseball because no one but the most hardcore GDIs at Auburn that also went to womens basketball games went to Auburn baseball games on a regular basis

Correction, you could just say, "I don't know shite about Auburn baseball".

11. Mizz
12. UT
13. UGA
14. AUB

This would be my ranking. We are going to benefit a lot from getting the Vandy and Arkansas series at home. Any order of the top 4 I could buy into. Vandy really catches the shaft in the East having to play State, Arkansas, and LSU this season. Brutal.

I also knew several players so that gave me more incentive.

but I do remember alot of greeks going to the games. Easier to bring in booze and better than watching our basketball team play

Dammit Beaver, you're the reason we can't have a nice baseball program. Nobody gives a shite.

I've followed Auburn baseball and watched games since I was 11 and I don't even like baseball in general.

Has it been announced what exactly we are going to do with Hudson's baseball donation?

Why do you have to trail back to a game two whole seasons ago to talk shite?

08-09: Ark 2-1
09-10: Ark 3-0
10-11: Ark 2-1
11-12: Ark 2-1
12-13: Ark 2-1

Oh....I see why.

I want to see our offense before I put us that high. Our pitching will be the usual dominant pitching it's been the last 3-4 years. 3 of the 4 Hogs ranked in the top 100 players are pitchers, so I don't expect our team pitching to falter much at all with Stanek gone.

I'm sure emphasis has been on hitting all offseason. We're returning almost all of the team that swept sc and beat state, so being ranked ahead of both teams seems right.

with the pitching coaching and the extra batting practice and recruits, #3 isn't a bold prediction

We lost every single weekend starter from last year's team plus our closer, plus Suggs. We aren't just going to immediately replace that production. We'll be serviceable, but I think it's wrong to assume we'll be as solid on the mound as we were last year. We'll still be elite in terms of the conference, but we had the best pitching staff in the nation and one of the best college pitching staffs of all time last year. You don't just replace that.

I'm not going to argue that SC is better or worse than Arkansas, as I don't know yet, but this is horrible logic.

based on returning players, players learning the new sc system or what?

shouldn't the more talented team that returns more talented players beat the teams that it beat last season?

what logic should we use for preseason rankings?

we had shite for bats too.

our pitching will be fine. our pitching didn't lose games last year, bats did.
