WTF ever. You made five or six racial comments in this thread. Don't go crawfishing now.

And FYI, on the white kids, these coaches know what they are working with. The white kids who have dads and friends and inconvenient crap like that get the medical DQs. Those dudes will talk to reporters and shat. The black kids, who haven't got some of those advantages, just get cut.
bullshite. Plenty of black guys get medical scholarships. Link me an article to a player that was unjustly kicked off the team, or not offered a medical scholarship.

Can you cite something to prove your theory of racism? If not, generalized, unsubstantiated opinions from you that are completely unfounded serve no purpose and make you look foolish.
It's in the replies above.

Who are you talking about ~ you're gonna have to name names here. If this shite is common practice then why the hell hasn't Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton been called down here to publicize this shite?

How about one that got cut before he even made it to campus?
Push here.

You don't happen to post on oversigning.com under the screen name Texas Dawg do you? You sound just like him with your weird anti-Alabama ranting. I hope not because you got dealt with by non-SEC fans on that board. The UNC fan called your delusional arrogance out and made you look foolish.
For those that aren't familiar, this guy tried to claim that Georgia and Georgia Tech deserve credit for Atlanta being the city it is today and that all the SEC West states and schools haven't changed at all in over 20 years and that Georgia, Florida, and Vandy do things the right way unlike the rest of the SEC programs. Seriously, the dude actually tried to convince the Big Ten and ACC posters on that site of this and they all laughed at him.

Meh, oversigning.com and a couple of ESPiN reporters have the names of about 45 kids cut that they're interviewing now to forward to the NCAA Ethics Committee.
No names.
For now.

If you stop oversigning, will you not limit the chance some of these kids get to go to college?

No.
There are several Texas_Dawg's out there though, FWIW.
The real one has his own board, he doesn't post on any others that I'm aware of.

Who kicked you off their team?
Seriously, were you performing in the classroom and stayed clean with the law and the team rules only to be "rode hard" on the practice team and then placed the bench because another player came in and was better than you?
It's ok ~ you can tell us, we'll show compassion.

Isn't it exciting to think about the progress being made?
I mean, it's already on the SEC Meeting docket, and the NCAA is monitoring the practice.
And to think, a year and a half ago, no one had heard of it.
It's going to feel good I tell you, really good, when this shameful practice is gone.

How bout this.. quit the oversigning, when it's passed that scholarships are for 5 yrs, and players MUST graduate and aren't allowed to leave early in those 5 yrs. If they don't graduate, then they must reimburse the school the cost of the scholarships given them.

Uhm, yeah. 4.0, then a MA in economics and an MBA.
I was never rode hard though.
But I'm just watching out for those who are!!
Cruel world out there!

How about this:
A player gets a scholarship, he keeps it until he graduates or leaves of his own accord, so long as he's making satisfactory academic progress and staying out of trouble/complying with university code, etc.
Simple, IMO.

ehh.. sound like an Auburn fan..
Whine.. Bear is signing too many good players.. let's have scholly reductions so some HAVE to come here.
Whine.. Saban is outrecruiting and working harder.. let's reduce how much head coaches can be on the road.
Whine.. Bama is still following NCAA guidelines and signing players when they're allowed, and we're not.. let's reduce how many scholarships they can sign.

Well he benefits from subpar grades to get into these schools to begin with so they are actually benefiting from their play in a sport so why can't they have that benefit taken if they don't live up to their end of receiving a free education predicated upon lower enrollment standards?

Not really. Or you'd be more concerned about their time in the classroom and graduating them. Your team is falling behind and your coach has you convinced that dumbing down other schools will make yall more competitive.
