It's a power ranking. Shutting out two ranked teams is very impressive.

Plus the two teams we shut out are the only teams I could see reasonably being above us.

Not a huge surprise. Arkansas is last in the West and might make the top 25 this week. The East has Vandy and Kentucky.

An unranked team has never shutout 2 ranked teams back back.

Besides, they've been close all season. We all knew/thought it was coming.

They needed a miracle to beat South Carolina in overtime by 3, then they had a bye week, beat Kentucky, and lost to Missouri. What exactly makes you think they're better than any of those teams?

It's a power ranking. Lsu had a bye, lost to Bama, lost to Arkansas, then had another bye. Hard to rank them very high right now.
