How the hell is that dumb? Belmont and Akron would both probably beat Alabama right now.

Akron is horrible.

Belmont isn't very good either, but decent I guess.

Hell, I don't know if we deserve to be ranked that high. We hung close to Michigan even though we basically got cheated at the line. But we almost lost at HOME on Wednesday to a mediocre team with one good player who got in almost instant foul trouble.

We are capable of scoring 30 points in five minutes...then score 4 in the next ten. Even our consistent players can be wildly inconsistent at times... I think we are a team that no team should write off as a win nor are we a team that is safe from a loss to the worst teams in the league... Somewhere between ranked 5-10 would be about right to me.

You believe that MTSU will have an RPI of 100+ on Selection Sunday, correct

No clue, quit following RPI a few years ago when the committee said they don't use RPI near as much as people thought.

I kinda laugh at people that reference RPI all the time when it's commonly known now the selection committee takes RPI lightly when selecting.

Yeah, they don't use RPI as much when evaluating teams, but it is the #1 reference tool for evaluating opponents, at least according to the committee chair last year.

When someone says "bad loss" that is a loss to a team with an RPI of 100+, a "quality win" is a win over a team with a top 50 RPI. Pretty basic stuff.

You said MTSU will be considered a bad loss, that means you believe they will have an RPI of 100+.

None of this matters yet. It's December, lets let it marinate for about a month, then we'll know what's up. I've got a good idea about how it's going to go, but we'll see.

Certainly could be.

Won't take but a few conference losses to wreck that RPI.

There is absolutely zero chance that Middle Tennessee finishes with an RPI of 100+. They'd, in all likelihood, have to lose more than eleven games, and that's not happening.

Belmont may not have been relevant the last time Arkansas was good, but they're relevant now. Get over it.

Belmont sucks are you really still talking about Belmont?

They are as relevant as Alabama, I'll give you that.

Put the damn liquor down man. I wouldnt place Mizzou ahead of us just yet. Yes...I know we stunk tonight...we are a point guard away from being a great team. Boynton has been out of place and it has affected his shooting. Tip your cap to Kan State...in their place and they arent chopped liver...they stuffed us with defense and we never ever shoot half as many FTs as our opponents..its funny how that happens..even at home.

Donovan showed how pizzed he was by putting two frosh in the lineup late to send a signal. I would not want to be at the next team practice.

Florida should still be #1. Even though we were 30-5 last year, 2 of those losses came to KState. They have a way of doing that.

League play is about to begin. We'll get a much better picture of the pecking order soon.

We sure will. Any team that loses to A&M should immediately go straight to the bottom that week. Seriously, we scored 2 points in the final five minutes against SOUTHERN at home. If you can't beat a Billy Kennedy-coached team, you should just quit.

With as bad as we are on the road, we might open up SEC play 0-1 by losing @ A&M, at which point we can root for the NIT for sure.
