On what planet was Murray a ballcarrier in that play?

He threw a pick and was 15 yrds away from the play.
He was within 10 yards of the ball carrier. Moving towards him.

Guys...that was a cheap shot. I know its your team, but frick off. That was just some frickwad getting his jimmies off by blind-siding murray, while leading with his helmet, away from the play. Quit acting like it didn't happen...it fricking did and you can watch that video 10000 times, doesn't change anything.
The lack of a penalty was retarded, however, had no bearing on the game.
Im not sure he deserves suspension, but that was some dirty shite.

Contact with the head is made. By rule Any contact to the head now warrants a flag. Helmet to helmet or not.

Not a helmet to helmet hit.
I bet you also think Patrick Peterson didn't intercept the ball in 2009.

Im sure Dial was intending to make a block(
)
I can definitely see how he would get the impression that a QB was going to make a tackle when he is 20 yards away from the play.
It all makes sense to me now
Thanks for opening my eyes, you toothless fricking gumps

Didn't say that. But if they're gonna dish punishment after the fact, do it all the way. If you got players gouging at eyes, that was missed and there's video evidence, enforce a penalty after the fact there too.
If the SEC decides to sit him or whatever, it's their choice and decision. I think Bama will be ok without him if it comes down to it. Got a month to prepare without him if need be. Just amazed at how womenlike folks are for a clean hit between the numbers of someone moving towards the runner.

Why don't we just say you can't hit quarterbacks anymore and be done with it.
If this had been a running back or WR no one would even be talking about it.

Helmets made contact but he did not lead with his helmet.

That's not the argument. It's clear that Murray was targeted for a knockout shot. Dial's helmet hit him in the jaw
Actually, it is the arguement. There's a growing misconception that H2H contact is always a penalty. Not so.
From the article:
quote:
By rule, you can't hit a defenseless player above the shoulders," Shaw said. "What the determination needs to be is was this a defenseless player and was contact initiated above the shoulders? When we go through video review of it, that's what we'll have to determine. And then you as you break it down, did he lead with the head or lead with the shoulder? From game action, it was a personal foul regardless of how we break it down frame by frame."
Again, how was Murray defenseless?

Just reread your post. I misread the intention of it. No need for the name calling, you don't need to lower yourself to that. I am not an LSU fan.

Are y'all ever going to stop bitching about the refs?

So Steve Shaw, an Alabama grad, says that a flag should have been thrown and punishment will more than likely be carried out.
I'll that sink in for all the dumb arse conspiracy theorists.

how do you blindside someone when you hit him in the numbers, from the front?

quote:not illegal. Are you saying you can't block someone if they're not looking directly at you?
blind-siding murray,
quote:He raises his arm and his arm and shoulder hit first. It is plain to see if you watch all the angles.
