Arkansas is tFlagship. Deal with it.

Alabama and they can take Auburn with them.

Vanderbilt is only iportant in academics that is why I am keeping A&M over Arkansas.

And winning national championships in baseball. Stop looking at them from just a football perspective. They bring Nashville Academics and the occasional national championship in soorts not named football. What other schools bring that much?

Mizzou and Kentucky are the schools that least fit the profile.

Here's how you identify an ignoramus.
Vanderbilt's membership in the conference protects inter-conference correspondence from FOIA requests due to it being a private institution.
Let me be clear.
Vanderbilt is the one school that, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHORT OF LOSING THEIR ACADEMIC ACCREDITATION, can you afford to lose.

If the SEC had it's choice today, they wouldn't have a 2nd school in any state.
I beg to differ. we'd keep both Georgia and auburn.

Back to the original question.
I would remove the Mississippi schools.
1. They are the bottom two academic institutions.
2. They have two of the three smallest stadiums.
3. Between the two schools, they have a combined 58 conference titles in 83 years. To put it in perspective, A&M has 16 titles in FOUR years.

tLandmass schools. Their TV market is small and they don't have national appeal. I would choose Duke and UNC or OU and OSU in a heartbeat over them.

You can always tell how far into the offseason we are by the total count on the number of threads created on this exact topic.

yup- this and the 'which fanbase is most delusional' and the 'who's your favorite player on another team' and 'what's your damn prediction for the 445th time'?

...and we are just mediocre in those 4 years.
