What has happened to Gordon Sargent? He was the #1 amateur golfer in the world a year or so ago and now he is in 79th place out of 80 golfers.

Did he go off to college in Nashville and discover beer, or worse, pussy?

SEC-only tournament. No points for second place.

If it was a top-3 type of event we would be playing for pars. Pretty big gap so far between 3rd and 4th place teams.

#1 Ole Miss finally finding a little stride in 2nd rd. Tankersley is -7 through 12 holes.

ETA: check that, golf stat screwed up some scoring. Showed him with an eagle on 2 and reversed to a double bogey

My daughter played that course in college (only NAIA). It's beautiful and pristine.

Yikes. We are not a golf school.

History says otherwise

You sucked arse at football for almost 20 years, but no one would say that you are not a football school

If it is, I can't find it. Looks like only the championship round on Sunday morning on SEC Network

Edit: Sat coverage on SECN+

Only coverage I see is Sunday match play championship round on SECN and if you have SECN+, looks like they will carry the Qtr/Semi match play rounds on Saturday

Wait there is a 4th day to this? 3 days of 16 team stroke play, and THEN match play? All for a conference championship?

Ole Miss at 30 strokes back after two rounds is definitely not living up to that #1 ranking. They have some work to do to make it to Saturday.

Yep, the No. 1 team in the country is 9 strokes from the cut with one round to go. Not ideal but its doable.
