You guys have been bitching about cheating for months now.. He is laying out a plan to remove a lot of it from intercollegiate athletics. He is also saying a program shouldn't get hammered for sending a kid a freaking text message or a phone call.

Like the sound of the new ESPNU series.. would be nice to have one a month though, instead of just 4 a year.

Why is it a bad idea? What is wrong with setting a standard? It will eliminate a lot of the people too fricking stupid to play college football.. The same people too fricking stupid to follow rules.

Because some of the best SEC players are dumb as frick.
I think the GPA standard should be whatever the requirement is for a student to keep his financial aid.
2.0 at Ole Miss.....assuming the same everywhere else.
