Big ten country is where nfl oline men come from. The southeast is where dline men come from(sec bread and butter during bcs/saban hay days). Blue chip dline has a hit rate of around 80 percent(chance to play in nfl). The oline has the worst hit rate(in terms of blue chip making it to nfl). The portal has allowed big ten teams(really everyone outside the southeast) to second look oline and make big improvements. This vastly improved the oline units across college football neutralizing the secs biggest advantage.

It takes money to win and the B1G gets vastly more TV money per school than the SEC. It was inevitable that this would happen. This is our future thanks to our shitty corrupt commissioner.

So what's the problem? I thought anm had more money than anyone? You didn't have more money than Miami?

Its hard to guage conference with non playoff bowl games because of opt outs. A lot of starters are opting out and playing against other teams starters. I know LSU was playing third stringers because of opt outs whereas Houston wasn't.

But parity has hit college football. I heard Kirby this morning say his teams since the last NC haven't been as talented. Its impacting everybody.
