I can see that argument. In a way it was actually a pretty smart play, so many players just get tackled on fourth down and just end the game.

But the other point of view, to lose a game (and the division) on a 20 yard completely blind backwards lateral on 4th and 25 does just seem pretty damn idiotic.

That 1994 LSU - Auburn game def was one of the most idiotic games ever played in the SEC.

Eli's fall is a good one.

Clint Stoerner's fumble, too.

4th and 25 is a classic even if it wasn't the "end" of the game.

The Bo Wallace egg bowl fumble.

Depends on who you ask. It was a tremendous play by Hunter Henry peppered with a little luck.

From the Ole Miss perspective? It was a pretty bad bed shitting.

If Ole Miss had won the Egg Bowl last night, A state play may have qualified, as they had the game won on the last drive but Ole Miss completed a bomb on a 4th and 24 fly pattern.

You don't know the end when you spend $75M on it, apparently.
