That is wonderful, but you dont add population to the map. We add 6 Million people, which is more than the state of Alabama. That is what is important. Not Discover Card's opinion.

Alabama leaves and join up with OU, Texas, and Ohio St.

The beginning of the end for the SEC right there.

Adding population only matters when there's a product to sell them.

Except for the BCS national championship win sum: $24,000,000 dollars that is distributed throughout the conference evenly. That's the thing we won in 2010. But whatever.

In any event, Auburn=charter member, so STFU.

Those 6 million people are meaningless if your program is irrelevant and they aren't tuning in.

Seriously though Mizzou, it's not you, it's us. We just weren't ready for the type of committment you guys will need to be successful. I think you're really nice and I'm sure there's a Conference out there that would be proud to call you one of their teams.

Good luck and I hope we can still be friends

lol the SEC rant is probably one of the most hostile places on the internet, and that's saying quite a bit.

When the ESPN deal is renegotiated , Missouri and Texas Am will have played a huge role in the record breaking contract. It will help further separate the sec from other conferences and hopefully add revenue and support for other sports not named football.

I await an SEC lacrosse and water polo champion.

We haven't had one for more than 20 years. Let me rephrase that. We haven't had one since most of the posters on this board were born.

Furthermore, Missouri and Texas Am both raise the academic integrity of the SEC.

If you had to kick out two. It would obviously come from a state with double representation. So 6 schools. Pick your poison

It's not even worth our time to argue with these ignorant fans. I do, however, enjoy you owning these fans with actual facts. You too, 83 and Dixie.

Missouri and Mississippi State

First off I never liked when Missouri came to the SEC, I don't know what they bring to the table. Mississippi State because one Mississippi school is enough and they have the same colors as A&M

Forbes valuation at least gives parameters. In fairness, Missouri will see a large increase due to the shared earnings this year.

Lets just say that was true. This shows you have no clue how cable works. Try again.
