Looks like Mizzou is going away from the traditional suite mode to hybrid seating. That "loge" concept looks interesting.

Edit: If I have the time, I'll add in the total amount of premium seating for each school, including club and loge seats.

Isn't "loge" essentially the same as "club"? Ironic that the "rich" school has 0 suites.

Mizzou has a different take on the concept. Their "loge" seats are big overstuffed armchairs with mini fridges next to them. In an open club-like space separate from the true club. It's a hybrid seat. And you can move your seats around, too.

Whoa...yeah. The Missouri loge seats are awesome. That's a great alternative to suites. I wouldn't be surprised to see things like that become more common.

Located on the fifth floor of Memorial Stadium, the 60 loge seats are one of the premier premium seating options in the SEC.

Someone tell me that I am not the only one who could give a flying frick about the amount of room rich douche bags get to have fun in?

I realize it is revenue, but i sure wont be spooging in my commoner seat being like "look at all those suites that the rich people have!"

Premium seating is where the money is at. In a world where fans are increasingly choosing to stay home and watch the games on TV, premium seating gives fans a reason to come to the stadium instead.

Add to this, the university makes more money from these type of seats, which are paid for on an annual basis. There's a big secondary market for people who rent out their suites when they don't wish to go to the game themselves.

There's a reason so much premium seating is being added. It's the future.

Where did you get that from? We have 30 suites in the SEZ alone and have 22 suites on the west side. We are adding 30 more suites to the SEZ for sure an an estimate of 15-30 more on the west side by 2016

I don't understand this topic.

UGA has a whole club level that is shaded/covered and have wider seats, with actual back on the seats, instead of just a bench. You have access to your own bathrooms and concessions with short or no lines. They are expensive.

Are those considered "premium" ? If so, your numbers need to be edited up a few thousand.

I hope if AU ever expands, they just bowl the endzones with upper box seats.

Man I like that loge concept. Still very nice and you seemingly can get more than what you could for a suite.

Nice money maker if true.

Not from the OM website. That POS was designed by Torquemada. Like pulling teeth to get suite info.

Thanks for the info, I edited the OP.

Yeah if I get the time and energy I will include the total number of premium seating of all kinds for each school. ATM, this thread is limited to suites. Tiger Stadium's west upper deck has 3,200 stadium club seats, except for the nose bleed seats at the top. I didn't include them.

If fans want to provide those numbers, that would be great. Some of those websites guard that info like it was state secrets.

Me, too, and Mizzou is adding 400 more of those type seats. They are using premium seat sales to fund their expansion.
