A 2+ hour car ride is $150 in gas to go both ways? You know... they sell gas by the gallon these days. It is much cheaper than buying 1 cup at a time.

I have a Michigan State friend who basically said there are only 5 or 6 teams every year that have a legitimate shot at a national title (the usual suspects) and with success being measured as #1 or nothing it is taking interest away. Was interesting to hear a fan from another school's opinion.
I agree. When I accepted that the blue blood schools are allowed to play by different rules, and the smaller schools are punished for trying to achieve the next level by doing the same things the big schools are allowed to do, it has dampened interest for many that feel the same way I do.

Really used to be amazed at how many students id see watching the game in the bars in Athens instead of being at the game.

That fact that Missouri would rank third in the Big 12 is insane. Texas, OU and then those stadiums REALLY drop off.
