Who cares? It's the off-season and stupid threads we can debate on are worth it at this time. It's all in good fun and just to poke fun at and compliment our own and other fanbases.

SC's most well-known feature is that they're amazingly loyal for having never accomplished anything. In that way they're like A&M, but, Dorne is more like Texas than SC, even though SC does have a great deal of state pride. I don't know, it's been a couple of years since I read the books - is there a house we haven't used yet that fits the bill of perpetually downtrodden but proud? A Spurrier-like iconic leader with a smart mouth? Maybe that's the better angle to go down?

I've used all the major ones. I was strongly thinking about using "House Baelish" as Vanderbilt, and the only thing that House Aryn has in common with SC is that their Vigle is a bird.

Petyr Baelish as Vandy is apt. People underestimate ol' Vanderbilt on the national stage; they're not a bad team, they're just among giants. Imagine Vandy in the Pac 12 for instance.

Not me...which is why i called it stupid.

Just because it's the off season doesn't mean it's not stupid.

It's all in good fun that i tell you it's stupid, i don't want or expect you to stop.

7) LSU- House Baratheon: LSU is barely a decade old into true success, and they now look at themselves now as the true power within the conference. They are renowned for their ferocity in battle and swift deaths to many of their foes. However this is the house of incredible affliction and betrayal. The true king they thought they were serving turned out to be the inbred child of House Bama, and try tend to turn on their leaders and demanding their head on a stake with any given mood swing. They are quick to temper and renowned for drinking and enjoying throwing piss bombs at others. Their fortress at Valley's Death is renowned for being particularly impenetrable, and their rivalry with House Bama is recent but has become the rivalry ripping the conference apart.

Not bad. All in all pretty good writing.

The Tullys also tend to have Auburn hair which makes it all the more appropriate

Serves them well though. I think they have the best road team attitude in the conference. It seems they live to take to someone in their own backyard.

Look, I'm not questioning your honor. I'm denying it's existence. How about you not click on the thread, but since you already have, I do hope you enjoy the Wall.

Love the idea.

The expected, inaccurate msu/om bias certainly takes it down a notch.

I'm a huge nerd, so I've actually put some thought into this before, and I think I've got a much more accurate list I'll type up in a bit - not because anyone cares, but because I enjoy it.

I was thinking about making MSU House Greyjoy, but then I made a good connection with Arkansas and figured that was too good to pass up. Took me a while to come up with State's, but then saw some similarities between claiming a the State that most others looked on as ours while we're in a disgrace period, and thought of the Stark/Bolton relationship. Not really a flame so much as just saying what I thought would be the closest representation of how things are going. Nothing personal, but I'm kind of fond of the flailing part.

I tried not to go light on my own fanbase either, so it's all in good fun.

All in good fun then, you're a reasonable fellow.

In my list, ole miss is also the roses, but for slightly different reasons. I've got MSU as the Brotherhood Without Banners.

I bet it's a lot of the same reasons, I just more implied it in mind. It's sad to say, but out of all the universities and houses, Ole Miss is without question House Tyrell. It just fits too well.

I can see this, but I'd be curious to hear your reasoning behind it.

A&M is most represented by Renley Baratheon and Loras Tyrell...for obvious reasons.

They're separated by two houses though, and Baratheon and Tyrell suit LSU and Ole Miss respectively very well. And, as much as it pains me to say it, they both have a fair share of homosexuals that have been pointed out compared to the other SEC fanbases (aside from maybe Florida and of course A&M as you stated).

Don't see what Ole Miss and a eunic have in common. Ole Miss is thought by many scientists to have had Patient Zero of the genital wart.
