I’d like to see them come into Sanford Stadium and try to enforce a ban on this stupid hand signal.
You can’t arrest 93,000 fans giving the horns down and that’s what is gonna happen if Texas comes into this conference thinking they are entitled to special treatment. The Gators don’t act like spoiled brats when people mock the Gator chomp. If the Texas fans feelings are so delicate, so fragile they are going to have an incredibly hard time in the SEC

After seeing that video of one of your fans going ballistic over this hand gesture it’s obvious it hits a nerve with your people.
Texas thinks they are privileged and the SEC is going to bow to their demands. Nope! It’s not gonna happen. The SECCG is not moving to Dallas and neither is the SEC office. Y’all are not going to run this conference. Put our band in the upper deck and yours will find itself standing outside Gate 6. Y’all aren’t the only school with money and you will find that out soon enough. You should know these things before y’all join the SEC. You program will not be destroying this conference like you did the others

At least Texas is a powerhouse from time to time but Oklahoma? Even Mississippi State is going to upset Oklahoma from time to time.
Beginning in 2000, OU has won the Big 12 Championship 14 times. Texas? 4 times.

National titles? One apiece.

Number of times in the football playoffs?

OU 4x
UT 1x

So basically, you are clueless.

I see your problem.

So, I accidentally said Oklahoma instead of Texas. Since I fixed it, I guess it makes it correct.

As an OU fan who has observed this "horns down" thing evolve through my whole life...

Many Texas fans don't care. I fact MOST Texas fans don't care. But the ones who care... care a lot. I have heard it described as the same as "giving a Texas fan the finger" by that bunch.

Of course, nobody else thinks that... which is why fans of any team that plays Texas in any sport starts doing horns down immediately. Because it ain't now big deal except to that pompous type of Texas fan.
