I'm just asking a simple yes/no question:

Do y'all think the SEC will expand again?

I'm undecided because I'm curious to see what the next few years hold.

No way to Okie State and WVU. They don’t bring anything new to the SEC.

Maybe but it feel unnecessary unless the money jumps and I don’t know how that would happen outside the North Carolina/Virginia market.

Probably right, but they do bring an avid fan base and passion. Passion is what separates the SEC from the rest. It just means more!

West Virginia, Clemson, and Florida State will never be invited to the SEC. They bring nothing to the table, literally nothing. Do we all understand?

No. The amount of money that each team will be making will be a huge $$ number. Unless they pull off Notre Dame, Ohio State or some combo on that level, I just don’t see how the numbers add up.

That being said, the TV markets change.. the rules change.. and so there is no way to truly know, but I do think it will be a tall mountain to climb.

The SEC is in a position now where the league will not just take a couple of teams just to be adding schools. The SEC will handle future expansion much like it did with OU and Texas. The league will sit back and wait for certain teams to come and approach the SEC. If a team with a history and tradition such as FSU for example approaches the SEC about joining then the SEC will take them. The SEC isn’t going to try and go out and pick up a team like Memphis or Tulane though. I think the SEC might take up to 4 more teams but they are not going to initiate talks and they are fine if it takes 20 years to pick up those 4 teams. Those 4 teams will need to have a tradition or be relevant currently like a Clemson.

Morgantown is very close to Pittsburgh
A lot of the people there are similar to the people in Pittsburgh
Plus you have a lot of B1G fans in the state because of Ohio State and Penn State

They are a Rust Belt school
If they brought something to the table I would see why some support them but because they don’t I really don’t see why they are ever brought up

VA Tech is probably a better choice.

Interesting coming from a Hog fan. West Virginia is the most equally cultural to Arkansas than any other state. Right down to the incest.
