The conference was looking pretty bad with the 1-3 start but the ranked teams went 5-2.

A trend I’ve noticed the last few years is that most conferences end up near .500 when all is said and done. Sometimes there’s a hot start and then a string of losses like Big 10 and Sunbelt this year. Other times, they get hot at the end like the SEC did this year.
