SEC coaches think Alabama has the best defense

They voted 9 of the 11 starters to the All-SEC team (1st, 2nd and 3rd teams, and 3 of the 4 DL on the 2nd team are Alabama players.

Man can we wait to see if our secondary can cover someone as the starter and if we can generate a pass rush this year. Safeties are strong and our cb while experienced have never started a game and that is on both sides of the field.

Nah. Ego, Raso, Alexander, and company are apart of a way better defense. Bama's defense gets exposed against good teams, remember?

You're probably right. They are just the 14 head coaches that make up the SEC...what would they know.

No they didn't. They voted them to the PRESEASON All-SEC team. They're saying Alabama SHOULD BE the best. Which - of course they should be. I don't think that translates on the field though. We'll see!

You didn't answer the question, it's the same 14 coaches that said aaron murray was the best qb in the SEC so do you believe it?
And like the other poster said, that's not what they said, or you could give me a link to the voting..

How many good teams do yall play? Last year aTm, UGA, and LSU all performed pretty well against bama's D. This year you only have 2 teams that have good offenses so I expect bama's d to be in the top 5 again.

BE CAREFUL, that kinda logic would justify Murray being 1st team all SEC. And apparently that's just crazy talk.

Saban scheduling a bye before A&M was a mistake. That terrible and inexperienced offensive line won't have time to gel.

Uh.... Yeah I thought that was fairly well understood, at least in the sec. McCarron has an argument but when looking at the total package I would agree Murray is the best.

I BELIEVE that the head coaches of the SEC know one helluva lot more about football and SEC talent than any uf your clowns out there who claim to know more. I saw a funny plaque recently that said, "If you're so smart, why aren't you rich?" Your thread made me think of it...wonder why?
