Good Lord, he has less than 1400 posts since 2006. I was just thinking that my account, with less than 5k posts, was one of the oldest, non-alter, still active accounts with one of the lower daily posts counts.

I'm guessing an he is either an alter or 63 is his birth year.

Nah I got you beat too. My excuse is that I don't remember creating a login, lurked for a while and didn't start posting until a couple years ago.

So, you were just signed in the whole time and never attempted to press the reply option? Am I reading that correctly?

You’re painting with a broad brush dude.

There are thousands of black men that represent SEC schools on fall Saturdays. What percentage of them have done or said things that show you they “hate white people”?

Please cite evidence of these SEC athletes hating white people also.

My guess is you’ve seen a lot on tv and are assuming the worst about a bunch of young guys who want to play ball.

My guess is he created a logon when he was drunk or half asleep, then logged off immediately afterwards. He lurked for the next few years, finally read something that pissed him off enough to register for an account so he could respond, only to be informed by the system that his email address is already assigned an account.

Or he’s just one of those really old guys who leave their blinker on the whole time during their cross-country trips.

Nope. I just don't recall creating a login way back when. Then I came to melt in 2018 or so and it told me my email address was already registered. Maybe it was 2016. I have too many kids to remember things.

Ahh... if it was the way I envisioned, I was going to admire your restraint. I sign out all the time with no intention of posting the rest of the day and end up logging right back in.

Much like Bama title math and "on the field" win numbers, my original account was Nov 2006, but it was disabled due to inactivity due to a 15 month deployment and a period of not a lot of good things to talk about.... so I'm going to retroactively add that back on to drop my avg a bit more.

I can show you dozens of tweets from former SEC athletes attackkng Brees for disagreeing with kneeling. The media and academia has inculcated an extreme tribalist, us vs them mentality onto younger blacks. Things were not like this in the 80s or 90s

Can’t you see that equating disagreeing with Brees with “hating white people” is the exact same thing the left does with conservatives?

When you say “people disagree with Brees so they hate whites” you are being the exact same kind of sky screamer who says “if you didn’t agree with Kaepernick you hate black people”

You’re on the other side of the political divide sure, but you’re still an ultra sensitive snowflake.

Guess what, plenty of reasonable people have issues with Brees or Kaepernick and harbor no ill will to black or white Americans.

There's way too much generalizing going on with this thing and too many picking sides and/or trying to be divisive instead of trying to be part of the solution.

I always appreciate that, but I truly love the Army and soldiering. It has plenty of sacrifice, but it is an all volunteer force.

My oldest daughter always laughs at me because sometimes it feels awkward when people thank me for my service, especially because I truly love the Army like a second family.

One time several years back, I got kind of tripped up when this sweet little grandmother type took my hand and thanked me, so sincerely. I didn't really know what to say and blurted out, "well thank you for paying taxes"

My daughter laughed so much, that it remains our running joke today.

I get the post.

You have black kids on free rides to play sports telling people they won’t play if schools don’t cuck to their terms.

Cool, remove all statues, change names
On school that were no issue when you signed your LOI, have your black names, and in exchange you pay your way through while you play or
Not play.

These black kids hate white people. frick supporting people that hate me. Let’s see how a black funded and ticket buying fan base fills stadiums and drives athletic budgets.

What? Huh? I'm a little tipsy RN, but this shite is too funny to forget to respond. I'll probably edit tomorrow. Lol.

Here goes

OP is an adult man who's a big enough college football fan to be a member of this board, lurk regularly and almost never post for 1.5 decades. A man like that getting soooo triggered by kids - kids demanding . . .

. . .shite. I honestly didn't give enough of a frick to read the demands part. . .

Nonetheless!

It triggers him enough to post a melodramatic, mini-manifesto (a minifesto) to explain why he's abandoning his account that nobody noticed was even fricking there might be the most pathetic thing I've ever witnessed.

Also.

I am forced to consider the current backdrop of death and division, poverty and pestilence while also not forgetting to juxtapose this guy's flight from football for the most minor of 'offenses' || insert eye roll || with the pioneering (often) young children who endured the very real hell of integration to attend schools. With that in mind I have to admit this could just be excellent satire. If that is true then bravo. Even if the entire account was created solely for the opportunity to reach this transcendence - achieve this diety level of parody - it was 15 years incredibly well spent.

No I'm not saying they hate ypipo, but they've bought into the us vs them mindset the media is promulgating

You expect people to like when current and former players make demands over trivial bs from the schools
What is trivial is always in the eye of the beholder. Further still, everyone has an opinion and feeling one way or another on everything. That is why people always say, "never meet your heroes." It will often disillusion you.

None of this is new, players "loyalty" and fan loyalty are quite different. And, the fanatic is always more emotionally tied to the event.

I forget the movie and frankly, my Saturday night state is making some of the other details "fuzzy" as well. But, the main guy basically ruined his personal and professional life cheering on and carrying out his superstions to keep the team winning until it all came crashing down with a world series loss. The guy was crushed and intent on drinking his pain away until he saw the losing pitcher in the restaurant/bar after the game laughing it up with other players and having a good time, as if nothing had happened. He realized it was just a game and sometimes just a job to the players... made up with fiance.. Yada Yada yada...

That said, if you likely knew more of the players and coaches real life feelings, perspectives and opinions, you may hate them all the more. Like that movie, it really is just a game and sometimes just a job for players (even in college). There is not always a ride or die type of connection or loyalty.

If you like the program, like it from the macro view as the micro view gets messy at times. That said, don't judge the whole by actions of a few. Further, opinions are allowed. I agree it is frustrating right now that the call for dialog is really just "shut up and hear my side or you are a racist" for some. Definitely not all, but certainly some.

Does it matter what year is his birth year? It is all about posting comments when you have time, ideas, and want to know what going on from time to time.
