I feel gross indifference at this point. He hasn’t done anything at LSU and likely will see a 6-6 or 7-5 first year.

He really hasn't. Brian Kelly with his catholic boy toys up in Indiana produced about as well as a good group of five team, playing a typically soft schedule.

With Brian Kelly you get all of the abrasiveness of 2007-2014 Nick Saban, without the results.

I believe Brian will go very well at LSU.

9 wins including the bowl game this season.

Bayou Brian has been reeling in the transfers (#1 in the portal rankings) and building back up the program. O nose dived LSU before his firing.

LSU banned Les Miles from contacting female students after sexual harassment probe

I'm not saying I believe LSU shouldn't have gotten rid of him. I don't know enough details other than his wins dropping off some his last couple of years. But the article you linked just came out last year and indicates that the school commissioned "investigation" started in 2013. So it took them 7-8 years to conclude that "the allegation that Coach Miles attempted to kiss the woman was supported by no evidence and warranted no discipline"? Seems allegations may be true ot may not. But without evidence showing he is truly guilty of any wrong doing, I still don't see where he deserves disrespect now. Anybody can claim they someone makes them "feel" uncomfortable.

Nutt just worn out his welcome

Agreed and, at the time, I wanted him gone like many others. But, all these years later, there are many that show hate and disrespect that I just don't think is warranted.

I think LSU will be consistently good at LSU. I’m not sure if his offense will win championships though. He obviously thought his problem at ND was talent, so I guess we’ll see how fan he can take them though. 10 win seasons should be pretty consistent though IMO

What are Kelly’s accomplishments other than a bunch of wins vs a custom cupcake schedule?

Kelly’s average SOS is 13.9th over the last 5 years when he’s gone 54-9. Do some research loser!

No, because it’s way to early to tell. Cookie Monster left a mess to mop up and Kelly should be given about 4 years to clean it. If he isn’t showing improvement by year 3 then yea, I’d doubt the hire more.

Just gonna respond to the first post,

I think Kelly is a really good coach, he will have LSU competitive next year, winning at least 8 games

I really believe he will have LSU vying for a SEC West title within 3 maybe 4 years.

It is gonna come down largely to recruiting, of course

I’m excited about giving Kelly the beat down he should have gotten from UGA in 2012. Bama beat us to it then, but old grudges die hard

Kelly is an outstanding football coach. Not sure how well he'll be able to recruit in this part of the world. If he hires enough guys that know how to recruit this part of the world he will have great success.

What does this even mean? I seriously ask, how would you describe a good fit at LSU?

Does that not explain it? The smell of fear fills ColoradoAg’s nostrils! It is overpowering.

A good fit at LSU would be someone they would not fear.

3 years its what its takes to win a National Title at LSU. Please see what our previous 3 coaches did at end of year 3.
