Dont count out the gators just yet for the top class in 13.

Don't need to be bitchy, was just updating on a Louisiana kid, and he does alot more than dunk(but he does that well).
He's a stat stuffer. Most expected him to be a mop up duty player this year, but he is going to be playing big minutes.

Best I could remember UF was the closest to UK in the 2013 class.
Yup, we have Hill and Walker commited, we are trying to add another AA to the list, Billy doing work.

We'll see who else they get. Not sure how many spots they have. And it depends on where you look at the rankings.

I'm not. Just giving LSU some pub because of the outstanding job in such a short time on the recruiting front.

UF has 2 of the top 5 or 10 in the country coming in don't they?
Posted on 11/12/12 at 11:55 pm to Tiger Authority
I usually only follow UF bball recruiting and sometimes UK. Should be a deep sec class.

Yea Hill who is a PG and Walker is PF/C. Walker has a great ceiling and both of them play on the same team so they have great chemistry.

I think most of the LSU bball fans are referring to our 247 class ranking ( 247 sports basketball recruiting composite team rankings) although it isn't very accurate. Doesnt even have Florida in the top 25. I think LSU definitely has a top ten class though which is outstanding for LSU considering how terrible the team has been recently.

Y'all definitely got a good class coming in but yeah, I don't know that Mizzou has the number 8 ranked class either. We have 3 very solid commits, but I don't know if it puts us in the top 10.

I had hoped Beal would have stuck around for another year. I really don't follow the NBA at all so I was hoping to watch him play another year.

Those aren't their real rankings... Here ya go.
LINK
Florida's #5 and LSU's #6...
We'll move back up to #2 if we can snag Julius Randle in the late signing period. We've joined Mizzou in transferland, so we'll have a few talented transfers eligible in 2013-14 as well (Dorian Finney-Smith, Damontre Harris).

Good is an understatement in terms of Mizzou basketball.
We ARE SEC basketball.
We have high expectations this year, and hope to even make it to the second round. Where we may once again get Norfolk Stated, but hey it's progress.

wo things I'm looking for this season: Will our Basketball team win more games than our Football team? Last year they each won 11. Next is the race to cellar-dweller status. It'll be one of the most interesting conference races of this season between Miss State, Georgia, and us.
Last year we won 10.
I'm expecting better than that and not last in the conference. So that's improvement.
oh and Michael Carrera SEC freshman of the week this week

We have one starter suspended and he should be back soon, we still dont know why he was suspended.
All you need to know is that he is suspended for four games.
And another starter has been out with concussion symptoms.
FL is going to fight for the SEC this year, and should be very good, making a deep run again.

yeah, anything over 10 wins is an improvement. I think if we can win 15+, I'll be content. If we have a winning record, I'll be thrilled, anything beyond that is cake. We lost some good players, so we've got some work to do. Coming from 14 points down twice and getting the win was a good start for the Franklin era.

I think you are delusional.

Who gives a chit about basketball. It will always be the red headed stepchild to football. Thank God I'm not a Kentucky fan. Couldn't deal with a school who fills the entire arena for midnight whatever its called, yet the football stadium is less than half full and fans are happy if they win 5 games.
