The officials in last night's AU/OM game let the team's play. They missed several foul calls on both teams, but it was a much more pleasant watch experience than the games with 50+ fouls called.

This. I'll take missed calls everytime over whistles every 30 seconds.

Dog shite refs for a dog shite basketball conference
Since you love dog shite references, your knowledge of SEC officials is dog shite. There are NO SEC officials, dildo! The conference has nothing to do with basketball officials other than agree to a contract with an independent association

You’re right but you understand conferences will get the same crews most of the time, right?

he's only technically correct. The conference hires the officials in it's region (which is why the ACC and SEC share some of the same shite officiating). If the SEC demanded/hired better they would get better. Instead they pay no attention to who they hire.

Not many of the SEC regulars will be officiating in the NCAA.

I have seen more offensive fouls called this year than ever before. Push offs and charging are getting looked at totally different .

Agree, it feels like every other trip down the floor ends in a foul on the offense (screen, push off, charge).

The SEC sponsors officials and will place them in smaller conferences to get experience. They will also place them in Camps and Summer Leagues. The Offical will work other conferences , but essentially they work for a particular league.
