he's only technically correct. The conference hires the officials in it's region (which is why the ACC and SEC share some of the same shite officiating). If the SEC demanded/hired better they would get better. Instead they pay no attention to who they hire.
Not many of the SEC regulars will be officiating in the NCAA.

I have seen more offensive fouls called this year than ever before. Push offs and charging are getting looked at totally different .

Agree, it feels like every other trip down the floor ends in a foul on the offense (screen, push off, charge).

The SEC sponsors officials and will place them in smaller conferences to get experience. They will also place them in Camps and Summer Leagues. The Offical will work other conferences , but essentially they work for a particular league.
