Beat Minnesota in fricking Hawaii. You can't get more "on the road" than that.

Was Minnesota inept enough for you?

No counter for the argument so result to personal flames. No fricks given. You've clearly lost.

Do you not know the difference between road and neutral?

You can't get more neutral than Hawai'i.

I've been presently surprised thus far. Our team actually looks pretty good this year. Demarco Cox has really stepped up his game.

So because neither team was at home, it doesn't matter that Arkansas won a game on a literally different landmass? Your logic is flawed.

My take is it was a solid win for Arky but it still doesn't answer if they can consistently go into an opposing team's home court and win. And I think Arky has been looking like the 3rd or 4th best team in the SEC so far.

Agree, so bring on conference play and let's see what happens. If we break that curse of road losses it should be a fun season.

That's not a true road game by any shape of the imagination.

I'm sorry you don't understand what a road game is.

I'm sorry you don't understand that the issue for Arkansas was winning away from BUD WALTON last year. Neutral site or not, Arkansas lost all of them. It wasn't the road atmosphere, it was the fact that it was a different gym. That problem clearly isn't as big of an issue seeing as how we've already beaten a competitive team outside of the continental US.

How is Arky doing this year? Seems like the no hand checking would have destroyed your guys system. Has it been a noticeable difference?

A road game is vastly different than a neutral site game. Arkansas only played 3 "neutral site" games (prior to SECT) and went 1-2 in those (I put that in quotes because 1 of those was still in Arkansas). You simply lost to 2 better teams than you in the 2 true neutral site games.

Meanwhile you took a healthy sample size of true road games and went 1-8 in those games. What was definitely true is you struggled on the road, badly.

Meh. Whether neutral or "true road" Arky struggled to win anything outside of BWA. It's too early to tell if they've completely turned that corner but Arky fans have reason to be optimistic. They played Gonzaga tough even though they were white hot from being the arc.

Thank you for actually being knowledgeable about what actually happened last year. I would expect nothing less from a Cat fan.

The bottom 1/3 of the conference is complete shite and it's going to make it difficult to get more than 4 into the tourney. I can see 5 as a possibility but everything will have to fall right. A loss to any of Auburn, Miss State, Georgia, South Carolina or Texas A&M would make it near impossible for a team on the bubble to get in the tourney.

But did we? We beat Kentucky, Florida, and Missouri at home last year. Which team is the real Arkansas?

Yes, they made tournaments, you did not.
