You and us both. I still think SC host a regional but doesn't get a national seed. Think we can win a home regional but not too confident in our pitching depth to win @ a national seed.

:fingerscrossed: Cause that would mean that we would grab one of the 3 SEC national seeds.

We are getting a national seed along with Fla and LSU. And USC and UF are going back to Omaha. Kentucky folds up shop down the stretch and LSU blows it in the supers. Bookmark it.

I've been thinking this for a while. Suddenly being so good isn't something so easily carried into the postseason when you find yourself expected to win. See #1 overall seed Vandy that lost to Michigan at home in 2007 I think it was. Hell even our 2000 team, we have baseball history for sure but we hadn't been to Omaha since the '80s I believe.

eta: The reason why I don't think we get a Supers is simply because of the competition we'll face in our last 3 SEC series will be tougher than what we've faced on our current streak so wins will be harder to come by. Combined with our bad midweek showing this season + our annual no-showing of the SEC Tournament I think takes us out of the top 8.

Thanks. It's hard to work with the limits for size sometimes. I'll prolly tweak it a couple times till I get it how I want it

I thought this would happen, but I don't think so anymore. I don't think they'll get swept by florida at home, they have bama at home after that which should be an easy win of a series, and then @ MSU which could go either way.

I think we will get a little respect because of our stadium and being the 2 time defending Champs. In my opinion we need to win 6 out of 9 to be guaranteed the supers. If we come up one or 2 games short Ray will make sure the team plays their way into a top seed in the Conference tourny.

You seem so knowledgeable about college baseball so I'll take your word for it and give up on the season.

Probably true. You'd have to win the series against us, though.

The NCAA regionals and Supers can be bought to a degree. Have you heard of putting in a bid? Since they are all on TV and the NCAA wants to put forth the best product the stadiums can help sway decisions. I think USC and LSU are shoe ins unless they melt down.

no need for giving up on the season..its just fun to make predictions and try and get under the skin of some LSU fans at the same time.

Aghh, my bad. I read "I think we will get little respect" instead of what you typed "... A little respect."

And yes, I've heard of all that garbage. Sorry, I was celebrating our 5th NC in my lifetime by the time yall were relevant in college baseball.

Yeah I watched it happen, been watching college ball since I was a tike. I have nothing against LSU and I enjoy the fact that you guys care as much about baseball as we do.

I guess there's a first time for everything, but LSU has never lost a super at home.
