Their band is good at but their drumline is very good. Their percussion professor is a big deal in the drum world.

Agreed. Lets say LSU did the usual Spanish show and they were followed by '93 Star of Indiana. Most would love the LSU performance and hate Star! Which is better?

The ultimate question

mass entertainment value easy show
vs. near flawless execution with extreme difficulty

Personally i never liked the '93 star show, but could appreciate the quality of technical execution. Amazing!!

They do when LSU plays Auburn.

So what % of people pimping marching bands were in one in college? I'll guess 100%.

LOL.

They former band members like to pretend that they are as important as the football program. Like the comment about people showing up early to see the band march. How many people would show up to watch that if their was no football game?

Are you being serious? I was at the LSU/UK game in 2007 and couldn't even hear the UK band from where I was sitting. When I saw them marching to the stadium, they looked like a high school band.

Why did you come back? Aren't you still hurting from titanslsu making you look like a complete dumbass with ZERO reading comprehension.

GTFO! You've contributed nothing except that you think this thread is stupid. And yet you still continue to post here! I swear, there is no one on this board with a lower IQ than you.

We have an assload (a few thousand) of people every year at the Tiger Band concert. It doesn't matter if people at Alabama don't show up to watch the bloody tampon band from Bama land, because they do at LSU.

He's so fricking stupid. I broke my own rule that I told myself last night though:

quote:

cajunbama is like the random drunk a-hole you see yelling at imaginary people on the sidewalk. You're in the middle of a conversation w/ someone and there he is. Its best just to grin and keep walking past him.

For someone who professes to think bands are "gay", cajunbama spends an awful amount of time in a thread about them.

Time to come out of the closet IMO.

You see cajun, its relatively easy to not want any part of the conversation and still be funny at the same time. Why is it you, on the other hand, choose stupidity over humor?
