I feel like there was a game last November where a downtrodden, sanction facing, interim coached UM team with a backup QB beat MSU in Starkville with probably no cheating.
This doesn't make complete sense.

This is my only account, and I knew you would be too chicken shite to bet.
Now we know you aren't as confident as you pretend. That's all I wanted everyone to see. You lose. Thanks for playing.

I was told in one of the threads today that Jackie was the greatest. Was he incorrect in saying a guy that went 75-75 at MSU as being the best?

Jackie is the winningest coach in our shite history. It is what it is.

You're irrelevant and nobody would notice you never posting again. Not exactly a fair trade, is it?
Again, if a State poster that's actually visible on this board wants to make a bet Ill agree in a heartbeat. That or multiple State posters on your low level that all added up could almost equal one me.

I think State competes and finishes in the top 3 in the West if they can avoid injuries. The starting D-line is as talented as any in the SEC. They have a very experienced QB and a good RB corps. The schedule sets up nicely for a 9-3 season and possible access bowl. I think their holes at WR, CB, and lack of O-line talent will keep them from winning the West.
Last year's team is hard to pin down. They likely would have drummed us if Fitz is healthy although he looked like shite prior to his injury. But they got completely ran off the field against UGA and Auburn. The LSU win was not as impressive in hindsight (awful early on). Their best game was probably the loss against Bama.

That’s 9 right there.
Nah, I count six right there. Like I said, lucky to win 7.

What's his track record as a HC?
38-13 at Fordham before sliding over to Penn State. He looks super old, but Moorhead is actually a year younger than Mullen. I say that bc if you look at his picture you think "this guy has only been at Penn State and Fordham - what did he do for the rest of his life?"
I'm not sold on State being a certain 10 win team, I think TAMU will be improved, LSU at Death Valley is still tough (despite 37-7 & Troy), Arkansas will be a win and the Egg Bowl is a toss up.
But to say that State didn't have a good year last year (thus not returning a lot) because we finished fourth in the west is inaccurate - we were picked 7th - so the talent exceeded expectations. And to assume that the Dogs will slide without Mullen bc no one in the Southeast knew who Moorhead was is presumptuous, at best.
Mullen was the most successful coach we have ever had, but he had his limitations. Clemson (not saying that State is the new Clemson, just using a fairly recent example) replaced Tommy Bowden after a 9 win and their most successful run since the 80's with a WR coach no one outside of Alabama had ever heard of. Mullen going to FL is not the certain death nail that y'all are making it out to be.

You won’t beat Pank in an argument over Mississippi State Football. He’s been following MSU football long before you were swimming in your daddy’s nuts.

Jackie Sherrill at State: 75-75-2 (43-59-1)
Dan Mullen: 69-46 (33-39)
Mullen was your best coach ever. Sherrill won 6 more games in 4 more seasons. Mullen didn't get caught cheating either like Sherrill did, Mullen let the assistants take that fall.
Just because y'all are butthurt that he took a career promotion doesn't change the fact that Mullen is your GOAT.

well it is a pretty ridiculous argument to say that a guy that went .500 at MSU is better than a guy that went .666 in a time where the conference was MUCH better.
also .666

If they keep repeating that he wasn't, it makes the way he left sting less.
