There wont be a nickle's worth of difference between State, Bama, Auburn, or Georgia's D.
Then there will be a sizable gap- with LSU 5th

A good chunk of those yards came on 2 plays.
We had 444 yards on 48 plays. 10 YPP is a pretty absurd number. We scored 31 pts on 48 plays. Again, absurd number.

And two chunk plays for 111 yards. Look, I’m not saying we stopped y’all in your tracks by any means. But to say it was a curb stomping is a bit extreme. Either way, it’ll be improved this year so we’ll see.

We consistently moved the ball the entire game, espdcially the 2nd half. And we were in the middle of MASSIVE struggles on offense at the time.
State will be solid, but talking about them as if they are neck and neck with Alabama/Auburn/UGA and there's a big gap to LSU is laughable. Nothing against good teams last year suggests that. Nothing.

I was looking at defensive rankings from last year and Miss St had 3 guys in the top 5 interceptions list. That shite is crazy. Chief had guys all over the lists at A$M, also.

Where will Auburn be ranked after UW hangs 50 on them?

Auburn is going to physically whip the shite out of Washington's offense

Miss State was top 10 in the country on defense a year ago. They will most definitely be top 3 in the conference this year. Everyone back, plus Rivers and Cole. In fact, I won't be shocked to see them them #1 in the league at season's end and top 5 in the country. Will lead the conference in sacks, negative plays and int's as well. Bookmark this.

And when you peel away the games vs Sun Belt and 1AA team and only compare stats vs P5 opponents they were middle of the SEC in defense. The stats have been posted 100 times.
But again, go ahead and think what you want to think. Just don't be surprised when State dominates Sam Houston, ULL, Kentucky and Arkansas and is average against Alabama and Auburn.
They have a unit built to play from ahead with great pash rushers and ball hawks but will struggle again against teams that can punch them in the mouth.

including standout defensive linemen like Arden Key (20 sacks past 3 years)
Arden cost us a bunch of big plays with how slow he was. He wasnt anywhere near as good as he could've been.

I don't believe in Washington at all , but I still want to quote it just incase you decide to edit.

State held their own on the LOS against Bama last year, on both sides of the ball. The difference in that game was Calvin Ridley getting loose 3 or 4 times.

I disagree. And while I wish Porkroast would cool it sometimes, that front 7 for Miss State will be better and MUCH deeper on the DL. In fact, 3 deep. The secondary will be much improved, something we have needed for a while.

There will be no edit, and I will even supply her with Taco Bell for an entire day prior to “operation: shite on TTsTowel’s chest.”

It's hard to recall anyone that has punched State in the mouth on our D line lately. Play action passes and busted coverage has been our achilles heel.

1A - 1C - In no particular order
Auburn
UGA
Bama

State
Who really gives a shite after those 4 except maybe SCar and LSU fans?
