Your embarrassing analysis has forced me to go back to supporting a less embarrassing team. (barely less embarrassing)

The only thing you got right was Amari making your secondary look silly. Congrats.

This is why I try not to talk smack about opponents before games. You end up looking like this poor sap.

Having Manti dissolves a lot of the other variables that most every other team in the country would face. Having done it all year, Manti anchoring the defense shores up a lot of the big yardage plays, like broken tackles gone for 25 yards, the garbage short passes for big gains etc that doomed Georgia in the SEC title game.

I think Bama fully knew what they were getting themsleves into...Barrett Jones said as much after the game. ND liked to play 2 safeties over the top. O-Line felt they could run the ball on a 7 man fron and they did just that.

When Lacy broke free on that 20-yard TD run on the first drive and nobody for Notre Dame touched him, I knew the game was more than likely over.

After the game, I can still say with authority that JOHNNY MANZIEL has more forced fumbles than Manti Te'O does.

Scouting ND: It seems like their offense is god awful. Its also appears their defense is incredibly overrated because they haven't played a competent offense. The only reason Teo is a Heisman candidate is because he plays for ND, other than that he is pretty pedestrian.

Same thing I was thinking and then the 80yd. drive for the first TD, "Bama would have never been able to do that so easily against an SEC team".

Well only against Auburn and Mizzou...

In all fairness, what do you expect this guy to do? Bend over for a month before the game and gladly accept that UA was going in?

He went down fighting, for that I salute him.

Quality thread. Stuck home with the damn flu and this brought some much needed entertainment. I think this pre game post was the most telling.
