You are being stupid now. Penn State is not a very good team Even very good teams have trouble winning in Jordan-Hare Plenty of people picked Auburn to win that game including a lot of people here. And we lost by almost 30 points.

what?

Penn State is a top 15 team, auburn is no where close to that.

Auburn was suooosed to lose the game. Penn State was favored in the game to win.

Penn stat is ranked ahead of Auburn.

Again, Harsin is on thin ice because he couldnt pull an upset?

Penn State ja much better than Auburn. It’s in their ranking, it’s in the Vegas lines

I’m stupid? My man penn state is better than Auburn , Auburn wasn’t supposed to win.

By 30 points? Come on now.

It sure appears that way if you actually believe that game went the way hardly anybody thought it would.

Duh. Again, what was the line on that game? It wasn't 4 TDs...at home...

Line was 2.5.

2.5 is a lot different than 29.

Nebraska is a black hole of a program. Nobody is restoring them to their glory years and if some coach is able to get them competitive again, it won't be enough for their fan base and they'll get run off, like Pelini.

This was painfully obvious when they were bitching about Pelini's 9 & 10 win seasons

Nebraska is now one of, if not the worst job in the P5; sky high expectations for a program that Saban would struggle to get 7 wins in

This is a pretty big part of it as well.

I know it’s only September but not being in the top 50, and behind Georgia tech and Vandy, is pretty bad

I wasn't aware GTU still gave out football scholarships.

Oh yeah it is. The silver lining is that they are almost all 4* players. But you can't field a team signing less than 10 recruits.

I don’t know man.

Didn’t they kick your arse when Paul Johnson was their coach?

Geoff Collins might legit be worse than Harsin.

Freeze in the plains would be interesting

It’ll either work out great for Auburn or be an absolute train wreck

If history is any indicator, it'll be both. Great a first and then an absolute trainwreck.

They are a better program than Auburn?

What am I missing?

Yes, Penn St. is a better program than Auburn at the moment. But not 42-12 as the visiting team better.

Nothing, and I do mean absolutely nothing has improved under Harsin. In fact, everything has or is regressing at breakneck speed.

Harsin was not ready for big time SEC football. That much is crystal clear.

Except Harsin...

Rumor is he wants a Freeze, not just a Frost.

If Auburn hires freeze, would Hugh re-hire Clesi to be the head of the welcome committee for recruits?

Right? It typically goes, undefeated seasons at first, then a good dose of dysfunction, then a total shitshow.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

While this correct, he didn’t get fired for not restoring their glory years.

I understand that. I was simply pointing out that Nebraska's expectations are totally misaligned with reality.

He got fired for being objectively awful.

I see this as more of a Nebraska problem than a Scott Frost problem.
