Do you have a clue as to what he gave ? He produced a massive amount of injuries. Players that went to the NFL combine had medical files thicker than the Atlanta Yellow pages and never tested in the top % of their position group. His over conditioning lead to several loses laye in the season and the CFP.

One year after he left soft tissue injuries went down 50% and UA had the lowest injury rate in CFB.....

Not doubting you, but is there any link to back this up? Genuinely curious to read about it as it pertains to football S&C in general

Scott Cochran
I admit it. I said it at the time to rustle yall. And it sure worked. This goes both ways. Yall also got all pissed off at Kirby for "stealing" him. It's true.

Any UA fan with a IQ north of 70 was happy to see both 4th and Kirby and Cochran go. It got old real fast watching 4th and Kirby get roasted by every Spread HUNH O he faced. Pruitt was a much better DC. In fact 4th and Kirby was so valuable to UA that CNS has won 2 more Nattys since he left

But Saban thought he was the star of it. Didnt like who the focus was really on. Goodbye Cochran.

Attributing all of your injuries to Cochran's training methods is pure hindsight bias. It's easy to say that now.

Please. Your kind was taking pride in his "overconditioning" as recently as 4 years ago, even among the injuries. You just called it "being tougher than everyone."

One year reverses a trend. Gotcha.

Classic. We had fewer injuries in a season with all of the following conditions:
1) No spring practice
2) Limited practice ability and many players missed time due to covid protocols
3) An all world offensive output that literally faced 6 Fourth Downs all season in Q1-Q3... Five of those came in one game (against us).

I'm sure there are other things I'm not thinking of at the moment, but sure... let's solely attribute it to the change in S&C. Seems logical.

I'm still waiting on a link that backs up a single claim thrown forth by this troll.

He doesn't know what he's talking about. Guarantee he had never heard the term "soft tissue trauma" in his life before he saw it on some Bammer-felating ESPN piece,

Sure. I'm just providing context that *even if* he's correct in the assessment, there are so many other factors at play that it would take multiple seasons to have any idea whether the change in S&C had significant impact.

Everyone experienced it. Fewer practices, quality of those players who didn't opt-out. Those player who just wanted to finish the season after their first loss. One big *.

Gave you the link where the GOAT attributes the 50% injury reduction to new S&C staff.

Also to your points about the Kung Flu and no spring practice UA played a brutal All SEC regular season and was fresher and floored both CFP opponents.

It would seem the move worked out for everyone. We all should be happy.

I'm happy for UGA... They got their man and finally one-uppped Saban. It makes the rivalry that much more interesting.... A natty will soon follow... Wait and see..

Don't be one of those. One of these days you might need a little help.

Then again if I see you broke down on the road I plan to blow the horn (just so you know I saw you) and then drive on past.
