Well those fans are idiots. I personally was shocked that he was even a candidate considering how much he's already making. Would I have liked him to be the guy? Hell yeah! But there are still quality candidates, McDonnell in particular. That would be equally as impressive in my opinion. Plus, it will add to the Louisville fricking that we've given them this year.

Bummer but hopefully we get the Louisville coach. Just seems too fitting to screw UL in every sport this year.

Not by chance that this dropped right after Louisville and Clemson's seasons ended. Cohen made his hire and Schloss was able to publically confirm he would return to TCU.
I don't expect us to announce who it is until at least tomorrow, maybe after our season ends. But would be surprised if it isn't McDonnel at this point.

Many posters on here said the Louisville’s coach was the most likely and state fans berated us because the hire was going to be schloss. Spin baby spin

There are State fans that wouldn't want McDonnell? I believe that some were sold on Schloss, but I doubt anyone would be disappointed if it was McDonnell.

That was something that devoloped after the fact. And Cohen took immediate action. Again. I have no issues with his hires nor how he's dealt with them.
