Coach PoS is definitely public enemy number one in college station. I LOVE how he had the balls to say he left A&M in a better position than he found it. As he's got his staff bribing recruits to jump into the portal.

We lost not only the PoS, but the entire staff, and probably the entire team as well. Hard to beat that. Fisher was just a lazy, entitled coach that played favorites ...

If he waited after the 1st all he could do is porch from A&M or from where A&M gets their coach.

that's not how the deadline works. The deadline is for players to enter the portal, not the deadline to sign players out of it

The problems here are:

1) current A&M players now have longer to enter the portal
2) Schloss took the entire staff with him
3) A&M has no coach or staff right now to even begin recruiting players from the portal
4) a lot of players from the portal have already committed elsewhere, thus shrinking the pool of players even available to sign, and it will continue to shrink
5) the MLB draft is also in a couple weeks, creating even more roster management issues
6) there's no staff at A&M to even contact their current recruits from high school, but Schloss and his staff can contact those players

So, it's not a matter of the portal closing. That's just a deadline for players to enter. The issue is A&M has no one there right now to build a roster or even preserve the one they currently have. They're fricked as much as you can possibly be fricked.

His leaving is not the big deal. He made a total arse out of himself at that press conference but, more importantly, it's coming out that he & his staff, most going with him, were unofficially working on their plans to go to Texas, especially with recruits/current players. This from the players' parents. The portal closes on July 1, so, the Aggies are screwed & the story of those players now being actively recruited to go to Texas is definite. The day that the Aggies were having their welcome home / well done parade back in College Station, those coaches were already in Austin. What's also come out is that after the press conference, he walked up to the reporter, in front of the whole room, & told him that he'd never talk to him again. He apologized today at his PC in Austin.

Coaches do this sort of thing all the time, they get other jobs. Remember when Saban insisted that he wasn't going to be the coach at Alabama?

Saban caused his previous job to lose a national championship because he was tampering with the team and taking interviews during the postseason?

It all comes out after the fact. It's going to get ugly. Nolan Cain's son told the coaches of his basketball team more than three weeks ago that he wasn't going to be there this Fall.

So much for this hasn't been going on awhile ...

There's no evidence any of that happened...

There's a thread on it at TexAgs with all the links to the social media and tweets from various sources. Find it yourself. It's pretty easy if you just read the title, and it ISN'T behind the paywall. You are so good at doing research ...

Like I said:

The posters on TexAgs are posting various, vague tweets and then trying to convince each other that it's somehow "evidence" of a mass conspiracy.

Then others, like yourself, are passing these things off as facts.

There is nothing vague about the tweets. These are media tweets, and from players and players parents. BTW, Grahovac's Dad posted a bunch of crap about A&M about a month or so ago, and then said his password was hacked.

Given Grahovac's actions today, maybe not so much.

This has been going on awhile. The PoS did his best to torpedo the program, and did a good job. I hope he enjoys swinging with his old buddy again ...

Was ESPN this riled up when he did the same thing to TCU? I'm guessing no. Now they suddenly care

So give a link, just one, that lends any credence to these reports.

Just one.

Yeah, he changed jobs mere days after the world series loss but he definitely didn't interview with Texas beforehand.

11 TAMU players have entered the portal and all coaches are going with him but he definitely didn't discuss this with any of them.

No evidence at all.

Schloss almost let it slip when those conversations regarding his assistants were had at his presser, but stopped himself.

I didn't watch. I imagine it will be hard for him to keep the lies under control forever.

You said he caused the team to lose the national championship because he was tampering and interviewing with Texas.

I'm sure he did interview with Texas at some point, but there's no evidence that it caused them to lose. In fact, many Aggies are saying this has been a done deal for a long time therefore he wouldn't have even been interviewing in Omaha.

You say he was tampering, Aggies say a lot of players didn't even know about it. Jace certainly didn't appear to.

Some Aggies are insistent that there are screenshots related to tampering but no one has actually released anything yet, we haven't even had any players say they were tampered with.

JB Moss (former player) went on record with Barstool Sports about the PoS recruiting for Texas while at A&M.

Link for Sidewalk. I'm sure its not enough for him
