I think Louisville does have a nicer stadium, only because of all the Papa Johns stuff.

I like Southern because I have alot of family that went there. But damn, their stadium sucks.

As it should, C-USA and all

Arkansas' glory years were from 1964-1989. Nobody in the SEC was better than Arky other than Bama. 1964-1989

Ole Miss glory years were from 1952-1963. 50 years ago. 1952-1963

Ole miss in the 70s and 80s was pure garbage. Like it has been said before, be glad the series was cancelled. You would have been owned in the 70s just like you were owned in the 80s when you won 1 out of 9 games.
total wins from 1970-1989

Wins from 1964 - 2012

Maybe schools in Kentucky and Mississippi have to make a return trip to Hattiesburg, but the school in Arkansas does not.

Funny thing is Ole Miss has said it is open to playing USM but we will not play a game in Hattiesburg. Because it makes no sense for an SEC school to travel to that shite hole.

So Ole Miss beat Bama in '64?

Since the second best SWC team busted their arse in the bowl game that year.

Don't blame you.

We don't play at Troy either.

Ole Miss wasn't that bad the entire decade of the 70s. 70 and 71 were good seasons. But yeah after 71 it was mediocre.

Also the only team to beat Notre Dame in 1977 (print the shirts).

Because ole miss busted Arkansas arse every time Vaught played them, om didn't play ark arse's in 64, meddling with the history books is almost the equivalent of us hanging an 03 co west champions banner, it's pathetic

I had a feeling this would veer into 1964 talk.

They brought it up, but maybe you can answer.

Did Bama lose to Ole Miss before losing to the second best SWC team in 1964?

You were the one who started that claim, I said it was one of the games in the 50s/60s that was disputed as I do not feel like dragging out the media guides to find the exact year.

They usually mention it during the broadcasts between the schools, at least when the game isn't on Jefferson Pilot, that time is spent with Cougar High pretending he had beaten Arkansas during his playing days.
