Bama beats UGA. UGA drops to 5, Michigan to 1. Washington beats Oregon and goes to 2. FSU beats Louisville goes to 3. Texas wins and goes to 4 while tOSU remains at 6. Bama to 7.

Bama won’t jump from 8 to 4 without some upsets like FSU and Texas losing.

And in this scenario Missouri gets Citrus bowl and Ole Miss gets weedeater bowl

SEC has a terrible OOC record this year. We won’t get the benefit of the doubt if UGA loses

In that scenario there is a real chance UGA gets in at 4 over Bama and Texas.

Bama almost lost to USF and took a Hail Mary to beat a bad Auburn team. Those things are going to matter and ultimately keep Bama out regardless of what happpens.

UGA will get benefit of doubt over Texas team that has almost choked away multiple games.

All that being said it doesn’t matter - Kirby about to go in dry on Saban.

If Bama wins, they need FSU or Texas to lose and they are in. Georgia would probably need BOTH FSU amd Texas to lose.

If Bama beats UGA they will jump UGA and Ohio State and the Oregon/Washington loser without a doubt

I hate bama and Georgia, but FSU going in is going to be an ugly game.

You’re just trying to rationalize how to get UGA into the playoffs with a loss.

Texas with 1 loss, a conference title and a win over Bama on the road isn’t getting jumped by UGA with 1 loss, no championship and a loss to Bama.

It’s win or go home for UGA.

It’s win and Texas or FSU lose or go home for Bama.

Bama is at 5 if they beat Uga.

Oregon either wins and is in or gets a 2nd loss and drops.

Uga and OSU are behind conference champs with same record

Bama needs to win and one of UM, FSU or UTx to lose, or they'll be out of the CFPs.

No it isn't.

The committee are stupid, but they aren't that stupid. Georgia, even with a close loss to Alabama is still one of the four best teams. So Georgia goes home while an Alabama team lost at home to Texas, no, sorry. You don't get in with a mulligan just because you win the last game over us.

A 1-loss SEC Champ isn't getting left out of the playoffs. Stop with the idiocy.

A 1-loss non-SEC Champ, even if 12-0 in the regular season, such as UGA could find itself in, is a real possibility to be left out.

You truly believe Georgia, having just lost to Bama and without a championship would go to the playoffs over the team who just beat them and won the SEC?

I’m genuinely curious why you would think that as no one else thinks you are correct.

And you also understand that by definition you would be asking for a bigger “mulligan” than the one you are saying Bama doesn’t deserve?

Maybe. But they won’t jump Texas.

1. Michigan
2. Oregon/Wash
3. FSU
4. Texas

5. Bama/UGA

The talking heads have been saying this since Saturday. Almost prepping us for it.

Bama/ UGA fatigue will get their desired result.

Ain't a damn thing anyone of us can do about it either.

I would believe both teams would be one of the top four in the country if Alabama does beat Georgia. However, the fact that they still have Alabama at 8, while Georgia is 1 leads me to believe it could happen. This is the most fricked year honestly. Alabama and Georgia would both beat every team in the top 7 currently, I believe. We both need Texas and FSU to lose, then we both get in if Alabama wins.
