ok, dumbo. Let's see: we'll watch AU beat UA and everyone else, then win the SECCG, and win the NC title first.

It takes nearly two years for the NCAA to finally bring allegations against UT. It takes nearly 5 years for the USC case to wrap up, and it takes two or more years for the Means case to play out, but because nothing has happened yet to au it must mean people are reaching and evidence doesn't exist?

Think about it, they should have turned the tapes over to the SEC in January 2010, then at least by August 2010, but certainly no later than November 2010... But they knew in January 2010 that the tapes would be valuable... I thought these guys had a lot of money, Auburn's boosters certainly do...

There's an investigation going on. They're trying to respect it but at the same time saying that what is out there better be reported or they will leak what they know.

I wonder if the NCAA investigator asked Bond and Bell "Have you shown us everything you have " ? I would think an investigator would have asked that. Surely Bond and Bell wouldn't lie, they are the good guys in this right...HMMMMMM

What is more valuable than money? Having something you can hold over someones head. It isn't always about dollars and cents. Leverage = power.

because he is giving the NCAA a chance to do what is right and release the info themselves

I actually agree with Scarbinsky here. If you know something then tell us. If you don't then stop wasting our time.

shouldn't it be, "if you know something, tell the ncaa, and if they ignore it, tell everybody"?

What are you missing? The NCAA has this info. Bond is forcing them to acknowledge it so that people like you stop trying to act like State did something wrong.
Thats the whole point of releasing them- to clear our name out of it

You really are a retard. Both schools have a lot on each other already. They don't need tapes for that, plus thus will screw over MSU more than Auburn. Keep the hope alive gump.

I don't think the holder of the tapes is under any obligation to release them without a court order. It's his collateral and bargaing chip to force the NCAA/SEC do what they should have to begin with. And one sniffling whiny AU homer that complains about it isn't going to change a damn thing. Sounds like nobody will let him hear the tapes and he is out of the loop and he is pissed about it. Kind of like when everyone knows a very good secret and they won't tell you.

Your obsession with Auburn is noted, almost more than some bama folks.
If they were damning, then why were they not released in the begining? (January)
I believe the NCAA has made a rulling on the tapes. Now if there is something on them that is damning, they couldnt prove it. Just because something is said, does not mean it is true or able to be proven. The NCAA has either already investigated or are still ongoing with the tapes. Bond/Bell are just trying to pick up some extra change. Why would he leak it to a radio guy but say you can just infer things but can't play the tapes. This whole tape thing is very shady. If he wants the NCAA to make a rulling the way he wants to, why not really force their hand and play the tapes? what does he have to hide? Releasing the tapes would force them.

Who said shite about the schools? Two individuals in possession of damaging tapes against a SEC school wouldn't run into many closed doors...

No need to hope. Hope would indicate that I have a personal investment in the matter. By the way, saying "gump" is something I would expect out of an eighth grader.
