Ok, we are all convinced. What Freeze has accomplished is the best Auburn could have done over the past 1.75 seasons. This is who Auburn is. Freeze is the best coach for Auburn. He deserves an extension for what he has accomplished with his hand picked QB.

You are right. No one rode Aggy about Jimbo over the past 5 years.

So if your QB sucks arse and you have a great RB, why not lean on the running game?

Explaining away all of Auburn's problems on lack of talent and not having to hold the head coach accountable for anything must be so nice. Literally every Auburn fan in this thread aside from you can see what a loser Freeze is.

This is what I don't understand. You have a RB go for almost 300 yards on the road against Kentucky last week and then you come back home the very next week and barely utilize him.

The rest see it's pointless to argue because logic doesn't work on rant. There have also been several fans that just wanted Auburn to hire a saint and mad because they didn't. They wanted him fired from day one.

As for Hunter and the QB sucking, Freeze isn't sitting there thinking of how to lose the game so it's complete guessing no matter what is said. Auburn was behind and that's not ideal for running and maybe thought the defense wouldn't hold up running and them passing. Maybe Hunter wasn't 100%. It's all guesses but he wasn't over there wanting Vandy to win.

Come on, guys. It isn't Freeze's fault that he went out and handpicked a QB out of the transfer portal, that QB turned out to be a massive failure, and then Freeze inexplicably decided not to get another QB out of the portal to replace him but to hitch Auburn's wagon to that failure of a QB for another year. How could Freeze be responsible for that? Give the man another year! Hell, give him ten!

Aub fans blaming talent and not freeze is the most delusional auburn like thing to do. They are so oblivious to the fact that everyone other than auburn fans can see past recruiting isn't the problem.
The talent level...which is middle of the road..and the result bottom of the pile. That is "underachieving" in everyone's book. In fact yall are around 20th in the nation in talent and record ranking is prob in the 70's.

The biggest issue with yalls team is the QB and he was signed by Freeze and Freeze has stuck with him.

You cant supply one single fact showing how the past recruiting is preventing yall from winning.

You seem to believe the current head coach doesn’t have any culpability on Auburn’s success.

Whether a team wins or not is all on the previous coach and the starting quarterback.

If that is the case, Auburn should save $10 million dollar a year and just let the quarterback go sandlot and call the plays. It couldn’t get much worse than it already is.

Maybe, maybe not. At times he sure looks like he doesn’t care one way or the other. Maybe he is just biding his time waiting on his buyout. He has already proven he doesn’t have the highest character. He may just be there solely for the money.

OM had been irrelevant before Freeze came in and got talent. So OM should know first hand what lack of a full roster does.

He guided Ole Miss to back-to-back nine-win regular seasons for the first time since 1962 and four consecutive bowl games for the first time since 1971. All from his recruiting and coaching. Not to mention beating Saban in the middle of his Dynasty in back to back years. Even over the same amount of time only lost 5% more of his games than the Great Kiffin yall parade now.

But you don't need talent and Freeze has no clue about being a HC.

The funny thing is that in year 2, Saban took a bunch of guys recruited by Mike Shula and almost won a national championship. Julio and Ingram were only freshman. The bulk of the team in 2008 he inherited from Shula...a Shula recruit at QB (JPW), Glen Coffee, Mike Johnson, Antoine Caldwell, Leigh Tiffin, etc. And he didn't have a transfer portal to turn to for help.

So Mike Shula was so much better at recruiting than Harsin?

Freeze is about to lead Auburn to a 4-8 record in his second year at Auburn. It will be his second losing season in a row. It will be his fourth season in a row with at least 4 losses. In 4 of his past 7 seasons he has had 5 or more losses.

That is all Harsin’s fault. It has to be, because Freeze is a great coach.

Actually, Freeze has a career record of 85-60. That is a 59% winning percentage. He is 17-17 since the start of the 2022 season.

But you are right, it is all Harsin and Thorne’s fault.

Just because a majority don't come on here and ask for haters' opinions, doesn't mean they arent supporters of Freeze.

Bama fans are on here spinning to avoid that their entire season is living off beating UGA and scraping by teams even as bad as USF and losing to the same Vandy team as Freeze. That all with Saban leaving him loaded with talent. But nothing bad is DeBoer's fault either.

Rabern57 after DeBoer's seventh game as HC at Alabama, where he has a winning percentage of 71%: "DeBoer is in over his head and it shows. He cannot and will not succeed at Alabama. He has already proven himself to be a loser."

Rabern57 after Freeze's twenty-second game at Auburn, where he has a winning percentage of 41%: "You can't hold Freeze's lack of success against him. You have to give him a chance to get his own players in place. He just hasn't had enough time yet."

We didn't know when Auburn hired him he had a touch if gold and everyone turned to 5*s starting game 1. The haters should have told us back then how great he was supposed to be and all that talent he inherented.

At the whore house?

Auburn has a bye next week. Their next game is UL-Monroe at home. If Freeze loses that game, it may be the final nail in his coffin. I don’t see how Freeze could survive that loss on top of all the other embarrassing home losses he has since arriving at Auburn. I think the outcry would be so loud the administration would have no choice.
