now you are using stuff for non residents of Louisiana as a talking point.

quote:

ACT scores are used for admission decisions for applicants who are not residents of Louisiana, for resident applicants who graduate from nonaccredit-ed high schools, and for applicants to early-admission and concurrent-admission

Wonder what they used for graduates of accredited high schools

I will tell my co-worker who was admitted in 86 or 87 that he was able to pull a fast one on LSU because everyone else had to have a certain GPA (what was it?) and take the ACT. (And score what?)
I would have never known this if he wouldn’t have told me about it

No idea. Alabama for 1977-1978 through 1986-1988

quote:

High school graduates are admitted on the basis of acceptable high school records and the appropriate ACT or SAT score.

but it also says

quote:

Applicants who have graduated from high school at least four years prior to the date of anticipated enrollment may be admitted without the ACT or SAT, provided their high school GPA is 2.5 (middle "C") or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Doesn't say anything about out of state students.

I have a lot of research papers to read and programming to do. So, it isn't bothering me at all.

LSU and Alabama had the same base requirements to submit an application for freshman admission if you are an instate student.

If you got a 1.5 GPA in high school and 10 on the ACT, I highly doubt you were getting into LSU as a Louisiana hs graduate.

Do you think LSU had hundreds of those students applying?
Or even dozens?

"Arguing" on the SEC Rant is the "Life Blood' for many on here.

We all know to the ones I'm referring to.

Arguing gives them the attention that they so desperately crave because they don't and/or can't get it anywhere else.

That's why the "Ego Possessed" SEC Rant VGT's (Virgin Geek Trolls) do what they do............ .
