He gave a great interview and I think if anyone can come close to matching Meyers work ethic then he is the guy. He said that he will be very much involved in the defensive scheme, recruiting (obviously) and some other aspect that I can't remember. How long will it take him to get to Atlanta? The Gators will have an interesting season with this staff that looks All American on paper.

It is not going to going to be long. I wouldn't be surprised if it was this year, not at all. Especially if Garcia is out.

Weis has total control of the offense obviously. His son is enrolling at UF and will be working in the football offices. I would guess Weis will be fine and be at UF until at least his son graduates. I could see him returning to the NFL at that point unless his wife is really happy in Ocala on their horse farm and she vetoes any further move.

Atlanta year one is going to be a stretch unless our OL, WR and QB all perform really well.

Everybody says to watch out for Bama/LSU in the SEC. I think with the level of talent Florida has they are they have the biggest upside this year. Offense could be scary , but their OLine is young but talented.

Yeah, scarily horrible. Trust me, I really don't believe it will be very good at all.

Charley Weis is horrible. Did you guys see the terrible irish teams he produced??

Florida will win about 8 games

Or the 4 Super Bowl wins, or the fact he took KC from one of the worst offenses in the league to one of the best in 1 year?

Can't compare him being a head coach to him being only an offensive coordinator.

He will be successful, just not this year(we don't have a QB.)

QB play will be the predominant factor in FL's success this year, IMO.

as a HEAD coach. He's proven pretty damn good as an OC though.

Hard to argue with the facts. I still wouldn't trade Jimbo for that fat tub of goo though

Good. You keep Jimbo and we'll keep Charlie.

I'm starting to really love the staff we have on board. Verducci and Weis seem like a great combo so far.

x1000.

Our OL scares me this year. We need to recruit 4-5 really good OL THIS year.

QB play is obviously important but Weis has a way of making even mediocre QB's play well.

I think WR's are going to surprise this year.
