I don't know anything about boosters meddling but the rumor has been that everyone on the defense besides Raymond is "retiring" or getting canned.

Heard the OC is gone as well. Basically an entire staff turnover for Coach Ogre. Should be interesting to watch

When recruiting a high school player you are (a.) recruiting against far more teams than you are when getting a tranfer, and (b) it is harder to evaluate a high school kid (especially a QB). Burrow almost (and probably should've) won the job at OSU. It wasn't hard to know he was a better QB than anyone on your roster, and you didn't have to recruit against the likes of Alabama or Clemson in order to get him.
Bama should've got him to keep him away from LSU?
