Wow, what a great game. We needed that road win bigtime. Was hoping to get 1 of 3 so Sun is stress free. But this was a duel. Both teams are pretty evenly matched, Aub has better pitching overall but when Can is on he’s good. Also both defenses made some great plays.

Great game OU. I like the way your team plays the game. You play hard, well and with respect. I do admit to not liking your 2nd baseman right now though, but I'll get over it.

Here’s the play for those not watching. His batting isn’t great but we lost games last year on fielding and without him tonight we lose.
To me thats a huge quality win to do it on road at a new venue with lots of fans. Either way after Sun both of us leave this weekend with a winning SEC record. This is the one series I had circled with worry about being swept. Of course I’d love to win Sun, but I’m glad to at least get 1.
Both teams are fighting to host but I think Aub is a lock and OU still has work to do.
