Ironically, the one series we lost to them in the last 10 years, we went on to beat them in the midweek and SEC tourney so we still had a 3-2 record against them that year

FYI for those that didn't know. Longest game in NCAA baseball. I remember listening to the game and falling asleep a little at a time, only to wake up and hear it still going. It was also a Regional Tournament game.

*********************************

The longest NCAA Division I college baseball game in history occurred on May 30, 2009, when Texas defeated Boston College 3–2 in 25 innings. This marathon match lasted 7 hours and 3 minutes, beginning at 7:02 p.m. and concluding at 2:05 a.m. the following morning during the NCAA Regional tournament in Austin, Texas.

The game is notable for several record-setting performances and statistics:
¦The game featured 39 total hits and 50 runners left on base, a Division I record at the time.
¦Texas reliever Austin Wood pitched 13 innings (12.1 scoreless), including 12.1 innings of no-hit ball before allowing a hit in the 19th inning.
¦Boston College's Mike Belfiore threw 9.2 innings of shutout baseball, striking out 11 batters before being relieved in the 19th.

"Going to give up 8 runs per game" LSU blanks Kentucky.

LSU just over a 3 ERA over its last 5 SEC games.

Don’t see a bunt with bases loaded often.

the sad thing is that it would be the biggest accomplishment in alabama baseball history

it’s an almost as if we just threw a no hitter against FL last weekend. What a dumb statement by an apparently mentally challenged poster

So the no hitter against the gators was the biggest accomplishment…gotcha. Tradition-rich program over there.
