About 10 of those are ump assisted or induced.

Your starter pitched a hell of a game but he was getting calls not even Skenes normally would.

Stop crying. More than 1 run from Ben Royo takes the umps out of the game. How about not let the starter throw a complete game? Work a count or two? It’s a simple game. Don’t blame the umps if you can’t get more than 2 fricking hits.

Just saw a clip of the strikeout when the ball was 2 feet off the plate. Wow that was almost as bad as the strike called against Tennessee. Hopefully these clips circulating on Twitter get the attention of people in the SEC office

Best part of the night

BOT 8

aTm: "This guy's been shoving all night. He's at 90 pitches. Let's work him so at worst we can get to their pen in the 9th. Forget the 13Ks. Work every count to 2 strikes so he doesn't come back out here in the 9th.

LSU Pitcher Eyanson immediately throws 5 pitches and records 3 outs in 1minute, 22 seconds

2 feet? Get some new glasses. Pitch was less than a foot off the plate.

Zone and calls much more favored LSU in game 2. Add in the fact that your starter has really good stuff, we were chasing stuff that weren’t strikes. Add in the awful check swing calls and he’s the second coming of Mariano Rivera

This is bull shite. The calls did not favor either team. It was a shite called game all the way around. Both games actually. I’ve said this a bunch, and I’ll say it again… it’s just hard to believe that the SEC, which is the best conference in college baseball, hands-down, without question, has the shittiest umps in the game. The players, universities, and the fans deserve better than these shitty umps.

I am giving props to a really good pitching performance.

I am also counterbalancing the fact that at least 4 of the strikeouts were caused by really really bad zones.

It’s called nuance, try rubbing your two brains cells together and trying it sometimes

It was in the opposite batters box.

Yes, I saw that. Batters box line is less than a foot outside the plate.

From Google...

...Regardless of the batter's box or field sizes, the distance from the home plate to either left or right batter's box remains the same at 6 inches...

One thing that I think would fix this a little and hold umps a little more accountable is the sec making the hittrax available for fans to follow along with.

Hoover will be a good test for y’all.

Idk - you could easily make an argument against pitching your best pitchers in Hoover..

more looks = more comfort in the box against that pitcher

And I think the path to a NC likely runs through the SEC (8-10 could prob win it if they get hot)

Not saying Schloss or any other coaches feel that way, but I do..

For the top seeds, don’t get cute. Pitch your guys on schedule. If you get knocked out, don’t worry about it.
