Most umps are bad. The problem is none of them are consistently bad. They let their own egos and game emotions call the game.

All you can ask of these shitheel SEC umps is to be consistent with their strike zones. Very few are and its pathetic for the best amateur baseball conference. The ump behind the dish in the AU/LSU game is a great example. Both starting pitchers, batters, relievers and both teams were pissed halfway through the game because of a moving strike zone. Then you have the amateur BS where an LSU runner ran the entire length from home to first on the infield grass and out of the baseline. Missed call and not reviewable. I wouldn't have cared if it was an AU baserunner, just make the obvious call.
I never detect any "home team calls", just consistently awful umpiring where the strike zone changes from pitch to pitch, and over-dependence on reviews on base running calls.
