You simply can’t do that in that situation as an umpire. Just fricking big headed bullshite. From the time he told him to come back it wasn’t even close to 20 seconds. That’s ridiculous

No bro. There were 2 on and 2 outs in a massive situation. That was the most bullshite attention whore thing I’ve ever seen an umpire do. Completely terrible for the game. Should be fired

Right all the player was told was to come back to the box. He wasn’t given a time frame or told that he was gonna be called out. I’ve seen people take WAY longer to come back into the box. Just absolute bullshite

LSU had 2 on and 2 out. The home plate Ump made a very questionable strike 2 call and our better stepped away at 0-2. The ump told him to go back to the box and he started walking back. He was standing on the edge of the box doing his routine before he gets into his stance and the third base ump decided he wanted to control the game and just called him out.
