If it’s bad for UG then it’s worse for UF.

And Boxer has spent half of the 20 responses on page 1 saying the exact same just swap UG and UF.

No, no, no. Just no. Fixing quarterback is much easier than getting back 5 starters.

A defensive HC without a QB coach on staff fixing a QB, and Oline, WR (surprised here, Monken is a solid WR coach), etc is a snap at UGA. Addition by subtraction, recruiting over and look at all the 5 stars fixes everything.

Which starters were out? I know Davis got the boot early on. Who else was missing?

Okay. I asked a Florida fan about the 5 starters missing and he said 3 starters were missing and backups. Now I am confused. What 5 starters were you guys missing Saturday?

Obviously just a troll. Wide receivers gave no indication that they’ll be a problem.

Expecting JT Daniels to go into live game action basically after being designated as "no-contact" before this week against Auburn in his first game?

I expect them to ease him into it, personally. But, we have 5 games and 6 weeks before we face Florida, so that should give him plenty of time to get up to speed, don't you think?

In fact, they looked excellent. Landers looked weak blocking, but every other area looked very good. 100% better than last season. They still have a tendency to hug the sideline on some deep passes, when they should come off the sideline, but hopefully that gets polished up.

Campbell
Moon
Stewart

I was under the impression it was just 4 starters out, which is still a big deal, but it could be 5.

I didn’t check the depth chart before because Mullen never gives an accurate depth chart

That and Davis was ejected and replaced with a true freshman, which Ole Miss abused.

I think we'll be ok.

Really? Watch just the 1st 3 quarts again. For a pass happy “air raid” O the Monken supposedly wanted it sure looked like short throws and short gains for 3 quarters. 1 pass completion for more than 15 yards in 3 quarters. Very little vertical passing and not much in YAC that I saw. Only 1 WR had more than 50 yards total. Given the O, the opponent, Monkens reputation as an WR guru I expected significantly more out of the WRs. The Arky DBs were generally short, light, not highly thought of as recruits. They were 123rd in the country in passing defense last year.

No one thought or assumed this would be the case.

We're gonna be a very balanced team.

Yeah, that's not even true.

I think the problems we had in the first half offensively have been well noted. I'm sure you realize that with Mathis struggling and Stetson being a bit of an unknown that it may discourage Monken from slinging it downfield all game.

Definitely got to dig a little deeper than this to find issues with the WRs. Only 1 guy had more than 5 catches and we had 8 different guys catch passes of at least 10 yards.

There were 4 UF threads just this morning started by your fellow fans

What QB gets hit during summer camp? None.

So, one game is going to make a difference for him ?

I agree. It's tough to say the least. but he played a full schedule at USC, so it's not like he has never seen live action. Hopefully it will come back quickly, but there are no guarantees. I heard the system is similar to what USC ran, (I don't know because I have no idea what they ran) so hopefully it will fall in place quickly.

Did you watch the game? At all? Let's take a look at an Air Raid verses what georiga runs.

Air Raid=Mississippi State
Passes 60 Runs 16

What Georgia runs
Passes 47 Runs 42

Do you see a difference? I mean, I get it. You are a troll. But at least attempt to get something close to reality or we might think you are serious and you really don't have a clue about what you are talking about.

It's amazing that we threw very short passes with no YAC yet saw gains of:
16,19,19,23,26,12,13 and 12 all by different receivers.

Not bad for 2 and 3 yard passes with very little YAC.
You must be a brilliant football mind.
