Top 4 rebs down 0-2. Really odd series of events and bonehead defense led to bases loaded 1 out. they stole 5 bases that half inning. umps met and awarded home to the guy on third when he was caught in a rundown between 3rd and home on interference. next guy up sac fly. Rebs in a hole here lets see if we can respond.

This Long beach pitcher is tough to read he's like 5ft 6in 150 but mowing us down.

Bot 4 still 0-2. leadoff walk for rebs but we are caught stealing and ground out then struck out.

Dude for LBS is probably throwing 80 mph FB but his change up is perfect right now. he can't throw a bad one.

Under an hour countdown to A&M vs. Rape U. This may be the only time post-2012 that the entire SEC fanbase roots for Texas A&M.

And we appreciate your support!

3-2. Long beach state make a mistake of their own, error on the infield scores a run. Men on first and second, one down.

Bianco's close to getting tossed hahah.

Ump said the first basemen tagged the runner on the helmet. Either way, end of the inning. Going B5, 3-3

No such luck. Rebs lose 4-3.

3 errors in the field and never could get the bats going.

8-1 on the season now.

regardless. The system must be flawed. Looking at their W/L and schedule they shouldn't be 1. IMO

RPI is flawed, and the flaw within it, is the earlier in a season, the less accurate the RPI is. RPI is 25% a team's win-loss, 50% its opponent's win-loss record, and 25% its opponent's opponent's win-loss record.

So early in a season, when teams are playing cupcakes and non-conference fillers, the RPI is very innacurate. So a team with a moderately winning record, that has played a half-way decent opponent, that also has played a half-way decent schedule, will be a team whose RPI is very high, but its all relative at this point.

As the better teams start winning more, and start playing more games against other better teams (like once conference play begins), BYU will drop like a rock. It's the same with basketball too, early in their seasons....
