Everyone thought his original, 10 year, $75 million guaranteed contract was obscene.

Then they end up paying him more than that just to walk away.

Except for that whole "coming off of a conference championship and top 3 finish" thing. And the fact that aggy will Still be paying Jimbo after Sark's contract expires.

They fricked up the contract but are paying him like they should. I'd rather that than pay him out in full.

Scott Woodard and Ross Bjork were the biggest idiots to ever negotiate a contract for A&M. Fortunately, Scott is now spending LSU’s depleted funds. And Bjork is fricking up Ohio State now.

You do realize your AD was the leader of Jimbo’s contract being fully guaranteed.

Idiots negotiating contracts for A&M go way beyond just those two.

Aggies’ new goalpost is “no bowl win” as if they’d rather win a meaningless orange bowl than lose in the CFP.

Maybe one day Sark can win a Birmingham Bowl like Elko.

It isn't a goalpost just a fact. Just like it's a fact we paid Jimbo stupid money.

I agree. Winning a bowl game one day would be nice for your fans.

NY6 bowl win and Too 4 finish is what led to a contract extension for A&M.

Big 12 championship and playoff loss with a top 3? finish led to a contract extension for Texas. And yet y’all are thumping your chests about it.

And yes, we acknowledge that Jimbo’s contract extension was stupid

Since Steve Sarkisian was hired at Texas, a&m has won the same amount of bowl games as Texas despite A&M playing in the Texas bowl against a team Texas beat by 28 in their prior game. Meanwhile, Texas has played top 10 opponents (one of which in a CFP playoff) in each of their bowl games.

Oh, and Texas isn’t paying the coach responsible $77 million to NOT coach for them like a&m is

Texas went 4-0 in bowl games under Tom Herman and he was fired for underperformance. Texas a&m won 3 bowl games under jimbo fisher and will end up paying him over $130 million in salary. We are not the same

This would literally be the single greatest achievement for a&m football in any of your fans lives

This was a terrible contract for a guy who hasn't earned an extension yet and had no suitors. His initial contract ran through 2027 why not actually see if he can earn the extension instead of this bullshite panic of "getting in front of it". Hell, at least see what the first two years in SEC play brings before making it so fricking painful to fire his arse when he does what he's done for his entire career and wallows in mediocrity.

Can’t wait to hear how a&m is “big brother” other than them reminding us how their school was founded earlier (yet woefully behind in academic and athletic dept stature) and has a higher student population due to being an easier school to get into

Oh wait, I’m replying to Buster83… I know exactly what he’ll post in response
