Sankey is trying to be Goodell. TBD on how that works out for him.

I'm mixed on this saga. But I expect the national narrative will back him as showing strong, bold, leadership while the LSU fans here say he's a moment from getting the boot.

This reminds me of Harold and Kumar goes to Gitmo bay. Although, I'm Stankey loves a cockmeat sandwhich.

I think I've hated everything he's done until now.

He's got a chance to save the sport if things are done right.

Not with some of the statements that he made. He wasn’t very diplomatic. Continuing the federal case/vote fiasco for days after LSU backed down over the players was also very odd.

Hahaha...national narrative is very pro-LSU. Have you zero media?

You guys can say this stuff until your face turns blue but the top story on ESPN - who was probably a party to this btw - leads with LSU sending its "compliance" letter.

Which, of course, was orchestrated with Sankey and likely approved by the Conference before release to the press.

After their lawsuits are settled, they will be set for life. Hope UF doesn't mind the fact they they will pay a small piece from their share of the SEC pie.

Sankey needed an offramp too. The last few days have just been about the price the SEC would exert. I'd be open to the idea that LSU ended up with a "very good outcome" in that particular part of the saga, based on what I see thus far.

You say that as if every, single segment about this, for the past two days, wasn't 100% pro-LSU.

They probably get to finish a degree program paid for by LSU. Train in the facility, practice in the next pro day, and have excellent legal representation while their lawsuit against the SEC and Sankey goes through the court.

We'll take care of their schooling and training. The rest of you lot will be paying for the lawyers and the financial judgement.
